The FTP backup option with UpdraftPlus is throwing the following error when I run the test:

FTP settings test result: Failure: we successfully logged in, but were not able to create a file in the given directory.

    Messages:
    * PHP event: code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput() [function.ftp-nb-fput]: Could not open: No such file or directory (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)

I’m able to successfully content to the destination folder using FTP.

The file in question, https://ftp.class.php, exists. Changing the permissions to 755 or 775 or 777 makes no difference to the above error message.

The destination folder is located on our secure server. Could that be an issue

Are you entering *exactly* the same in the directory as is shown in your FTP client, including any preceding (or not) slashes?

    The file in question

The message is indicating where in the code the message is encountered, not that a file doesn’t exist.

    Hello!

I have the same problem, but I don′t understand your solution.
I don′t know what I must do to resolve the problem and the FTP backup works.

    Thank you a lot!
