Doesn’t work with most recent Woocommerce

  • Doesn’t work with most recent Woocommerce.
    When testing any email you get fatal errors like:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function get_formatted_billing_full_name() on null in /servcer/wp-content/themes/storefront-child/woocommerce/emails/admin-new-order.php on line 38

    Hi @briangelhaus

    That fatal error is showing a file path to a file within your wp theme. This would indicate to me that there is an error with your email templates, NOT this plugin.

    This error you have found is exactly what this plugin is designed for – testing your emails and discovering errors. Please consider re-posting your review.

    You’re right. I now removed my email templates from my theme. But now the fatal error comes from the most recent version of woocommerce and wordpress.

    Are there any orders in your woocommerce setup? If not, please create at least 1 order

    There is 1 order. Order ID #244.
    I go to the email test page, select ID #244
    Click any of the email preview buttons and get the fatal error.

    I can confirm the original briangelhaus’s original comment here. When previewing an email, the plugin does throw a Fatal Error which does NOT occur when an email is generated to the customer.

    i.e. PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function has_downloadable_item() on boolean in …./woocommerce/includes/class-wc-emails.php:368

    This is without heavy template customisations, using WC3.3.5 plus WC Bookings/Deposits plugins enabled, if that’s of help.

    I also get the error while previewing but the generated email works fine.

    Woocommerce update make a similar issue to my site; now, any mails notification are send

    I have the same issue.

    The normal email sending works fine, but the preview makes an error.
