Domain Change caused 2 problems and I don’t know where to fix

    My blog has two domain urls I’m wanting to eventually completely convert to the latter.

    I changed the site address url. BUT when I did that, my social media icon squares no longer show the white icons and I no longer have the option to customize from the page view, which I don’t know if this capability comes from wordpress or my paid theme. I can switch back to the other site address to show someone if interested.

    I just like to ask your purpose of having 2 domain urls? And how do you point each domains to your site? Domain pointing shouldn’t affect the layout or how your site looks.

    I figured it out. It was something small that I was just missing. I changed my site address url but missed to wordpress url. I googled an error message and found a blog post with the fix I needed.

    I have 2 domains because I found a loop hole in my host’s domain change policy. I will be eliminating the old one once I have everything switched over.
