• To whom it may concern,

The company I work for also have a WordPress website, when WordPress 4.5.10 was updated we lost information on one of our pages. This is the link to the page I am talking about (https://fiscus.org.uk/who-we-are/), originally you could see a photo of the member of staff and a little summary of who they were.
The company that host our website also do the troubleshooting for us, they have told me that they problem is being caused by an updated plug in but they couldn’t sort the problem out.
I need to know how to sort this problem out, can I get some advice on the next steps I should take please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

As from past experiences try to revert the updates from your backup. Your host should have a backup of your files.

The next part is create a dev/staging site that mirrors the live site. From there try to do updates, changes one by one so you can track where there are pages that has been changed/lost.
