Some issues

Hi,

I’m having trouble setting Polylang working properly. I use Astra theme, Elementor Pro, Elementor Extras and Essential add-on for Elementor. I have used PL seccessfully with an other site.

In language selector I have set the flag points to the front page. I can’t get this working. It directs the site to the second page on the site. Homepage is set to the right page from the WP settings.

Then, on you home page FAW:s say:

“You MUST define a language for all your posts and pages otherwise they will not pass the language filter and won’t be displayed on frontend.” Blog is set to the right “page” from the WP settings.

Does this mean that even the post that are not going to be translated have to be defined to some language. Now I have lost all the blog articles.

And finally, when I deactivate the PL plugin. I will lose my Menu even it is set correctly in the Appearance -> Menu.

The only way I get things back and running with all these issues is that I delete everything regarding Polylang.

SO, easy question: Where do I go wrong or is there issues with the lates WP update (it says the PL is not tested with the lates WP version or are there conflicts with some other plugins?

Really appreciate you help. I should get this up and running for a client.

AT the moment Polylang is not installed so that I can keep working with the site.
