• Hi I have this installed on 4 sites that are set up with cloudflare because my header background images were being blocked – and even when I try to view my images from within a page editing space where they appear in a gallery layout. However when I go directly to the Media Library and change the view to a list I can see all my images.

The plugin solved the blocked background header image problem initially but has now stopped working on 2 sites.
    traceyboudine.com
    famehackerspr.com

When I installed the plugin I only activated it without making any other changes to it. On one of the sites where it started blocking the background header image I changed the general settings from protocolo relative to relative to see if that had an impact. Didn’t solve it.

I didn’t think trying to upgrade my ssl for google would take all my time and turn me into a cybersecurity expert. Can you help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I removed 2 font plugins and changed from protocol relative to relative on traceyboudine.com and this solved the problem of blocking my background header image BUT it does not show the padlock secure in the browser address bar. Then I removed a Divi Theme Support plugin and now I can see a padlock secure in the browser bar. But it keeps fluctuating back to no padlock.

I have font plugins in one site where everything seems to be working fine tho.

Plugins in unique to this are Epictions Curation and Zota.

Nothing has solved the problem at all on my other site famehackerspr.com My background header image is still blocked and there is no padlock secure in the browser address bar.

Plugins unique to this site are Youtube Embed Pro, WP Smush and Typed.

Deactivating WP Smush did not solve the problem and the other 2 are part of the design so maybe you can you update your plugin?

    Hi,

The first domain that you’ve mentioned is reported as insecure because this file is requested as an insecure element (meaning via ‘HTTP’):

    https://www.traceyboudine.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/fractal-1644488_1920-1.jpg

So you should find the place from where this image is referenced and update its part to a relative one (say without “http:”).

    Kind Regards,
    Mihai Bocsaru

Another problem is that the above-mentioned image file returns a 403 error.

You may like to check that image reference and adjust it to an existing image.

And on the site famehackerspr.com where I can’t get the background header image to show, when I open the home page from the dashboard where I’m signed in, I should be able to open the home page and still be signed into my dashboard with a black wp dashboard at the top of the screen. No black dashboard bar at the top. I’m not signed in – but I am signed in in the tab next to it.

However, when I try to open the home page from the page editing space inside the dashboard using the VISUAL BUILDER mode in my Divi theme, the image is there, the dashboard bar is there, I seem to be able to edit, but the visual builder just spins and spins like it isn’t open. When I click on EXIT visual builder, the image disappears and so does the wp black dashboard bar.

traceyboudine.com – I don’t understand where or what part I’m supposed to change? And it started showing padlock secure again on it’s own now.

famehackerspr.com – the image is there I have checked repeatedly and re-selected it a few times and as I said it shows up in the Visual Builder mode and disappears when I exit that mode.

I don’t understand how instead of my background photo the gray color is showing anyway. That’s not selected anywhere.

Both of your domains are loading properly as HTTPS now.

Probably you’ve had some caching issues earlier.

Can’t get it to work on my laptop, phone or tablet. Not working on my end. Are you sure?

I cleared everything from my chrome browser ALL TIME and have to log in with 2 factor everywhere and the image still doesn’t show up.

The only browser famehackerspr.com background image works on is INTERNET EXPLORER. No one uses that web browser so that doesn’t really help me out. Most people use chrome and firefox. What is the fix?

Now nothing but white space shows up and my logo shrank. Everything else it totally fine even the logo and image on every other page.

I don’t have a clue but I’m going to have rip out the plugin and forget about ssl security for this site and any other that starts doing this because I need to use my website and have them look the way I need to them to look unless you know how a regular non tech person can fix this..

Oh and now it doesn’t work and is doing the same thing on Firefox. Think I’m done trying to have ssl.

As @proitservice mentioned, I can see the website loading SSL correctly. To move away form the dependency of this plugin, please try out the following guide. It’s slightly technical because you’ll need to connect to your website’s host file through an FTP (using FileZilla). Other than that, you can easily update all of your web links to HTTPS without the dependency of this plugin.

Yea, thanks. I saw that guide on another answer in here. Sounds like loads of fun. Maybe I’ll be better taking a couple years away from my life to enroll in coding school and design my site from the ground up. And go from there ??

It’s incredible that you can see my website perfectly.

For me, my entire home page is now distorted in its spacing and missing dividers, the logo has been shrunk. Everything is white.

I can’t get the home page to load correctly on 3 browsers – chrome, firefox, MS Edge, my laptop, phone or a tablet.

No idea but about 30 seconds away from removing plugins and turning cloudflare off.

You traceyboudine.com website load HTTPS and looks fine. However, I do see that famehackerspr.com has the whitespace and small logo:

I assume you try disabling your plugins one by one to see if that’s causing the issue. I use Cloudflare as well and had enabled some option in my settings that was messing up my website. I forgot what it was exactly since it was a while ago. I suggest Googling common issues that Cloudflare has with WordPress sites.

    (@planetme)

Oh good you see it, too.

Yes I was able to get the other site to work again earlier pretty easy by removing plugins even though those plugins seemed fine in 2 of my other sites that are doing fine. And I changed some setting. None of that worked in famehackerspr.com
