News search console error since today

    Just today a new error is appearing in search console on every website we using AMP:

    The required text (CDATA) within the tag “head > style[amp-boilerplate] old variant” is missing or wrong.

    What to do?

    It’s happening because CloudFlare’s “rocket-critical-css” is making that change.

    Do you have the Cloudflare turned on?

    You need to add a rule in CF to say that “turn off the rocket loader only on /amp”

    That should fix this issue. Hope that helps.

    Hi Ahmed,

    i figured it out now – we ur not using CloudFlare.

    It was a problem with the WP Rocket 2.11.5 Plug-in and the minification of CSS and JS.

    After I switched the minification in the Plug-in off the problem was gone.
