Hello, I am about to purchase this plugin but I have a question. The hosting company I am using will not allow the storage of large files on the server, so I want to EXCLUDE the storage of files on the server and only send them to Dropbox (or another storage option). Is this possible with this plugin? If so, in that case, will the plugin even create and store those backup files on the server temporarily while the backups are being made and then delete them? My clients on this hosting company keep getting warning messages when backup files are generated on the server so if possible I’m looking for a plugin that will not put the large backup files on the server. Thank you!

    Hey there –

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back with you on this. The main plugin is completely free so you don’t need to purchase it. We don’t support the premium extensions on this forum.

In answer to your specific question, though, the answer is that you can control how many backups are saved to the server (setting it to just 1 if you want) but you aren’t yet able to save NONE of the backups to the server. At this point, saving the backup to the server is a step in the process of saving any number of backups to a remote destination if desired. For that reason, for now, we save at least one backup to the server.

I hope that helps and I’m sorry for any inconvenience,
    Kat
