Gallery Location and Function

Hey Guys, do you know if there is any possible way to change the location of the gallery images to underneath the large one at the top? And potentially have a way to exit on the image or press the arrow tot he next instead of having to press back every time? Seems a little limited. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
