• Hi, this plugin has name verification into cardholder and billing address?
Billing address name match the name on the credit card.

I’m sorry for the delay responding here.

The verification services are provided by the card issuers, and it’s actually very common that they don’t include the “name” on the billing address. So the AVS code you get back will be for the street address, city, state, zip. It would not include anything specific about the name.

Of course you would also get a code back for card security code, separate from the AVS.

Again, though, in my experience you can pass pretty much any name you want and as long as the address itself matches the response code will come back as a match.

Hi, with the name i resolve with validation on our part, check if match name and cardholder. But now i have a new question. it possible to add zipcode field, or check it from billing?

The zip code gets pulled from the billing address. Are you wanting a separate zip code field specific to the card? Typically the billing address is what that’s for.

I want that zipcode will be verifed by card issuers, if is not match with cardholder zip transaction will be refused. Or card issuers don’t verify this?

Yes, the zip code entered into the billing address would be passed to the card issuer when the transaction is attempted. If the zip does not match then the AVS (address verification) code would come back as a “no match” or maybe a “partial match”. It would be up to you to ensure your account is configured to either decline these immediately, or let them through but allow you to follow up and decide if you want to ship or not. PayPal provides “Risk Controls” or “Fraud Management Filters” in your profile that help you control this.
