Showing categories just like they are on the Posts page

On my posts page (also my home page) my blog posts show up in a nice square that has a picture to the left, the title, and even my social sharing buttons. I would like my topic pages to show them this way as well, but they just look boring with regular text, no pictures, no white background frame, etc.
