Cannot Change Email

    Help !! When I initially set up my site I put in an email address that does not exist. Now when I go to change it to the correct email address, I am told that an email will be sent to verify the change. No email has been sent to the correct (new) address and I am not sure if it is trying to send it to the old address but that will be sent back because it does not exist. I really need this changed for obvious reasons. Help please. I have been looking everywhere to try to fix this.
    I am with Host Gator and went there but they were of no help at all. They insisted it’s a problem with a plug in. Ugh

    Using PHPMYADMIN from your hosting control panel, find the user in question in the wp_users table and edit its email.

    That worked like a charm. I changed in in PHPADMIN and when I changed it in settings it sent the email to the correct address. All fixed. Awesome support. Thanks so much
