• I want people to be able to subscribe to my blog so they receive posts in their email when I make new posts. For some reason this is not an easy thing to do in www.ads-software.com. I added the “Email Subscribers and Newsletters” plugin so people can do this on my homepage. Seems to work fine.

However, under the area where people can post comments, there is a box they can check to be notified of new posts by email. 1. it doesn’t seem to work (sends the email, but when you click the link you get an error (404 – page not found), and 2. now that I’ve got another way for people to subscribe (see above – new plugin), I want to delete it, while still giving people the opportunity to provide comments.

If it makes any difference, I’m using the Kale theme.

    Thanks for your help.

Easy as pie… if you know what you’re doing ??

Seriously though, WordPress, or what you’re calling “www.ads-software.com” is just website software. It doesn’t include any mailing list management or newsletter publishing capabilities by default.

Additional tools/plugins (eg JetPack, Email Subscribers and Newsletters, etc) and/or services are required to achieve what you want.

Again, WordPress itself doesn’t do this… and this is likely coming from something that you added yourself… probably the JetPack plugin you installed.

Dig into the JetPack plugin’s settings and disable any subscription feature(s).

Looks like you got your own website address wrong!

That was it a simple toggle in Jetpack…perfect. Thanks George. Yes, easy if you know what you’re doing, and I don’t…only a few days with this.

And yes, a typo in the website address…maxskitchenandgarden.com
