Seems uninstall/reinstall still remembers the old settings. How can I reset all?
-
Hello,
First time when I installed TML, it seemed to work but not sure as I already had the page with the same name “Login”. So after playing other options, such as, Custom Redirection, I uninstalled (i.e. deactivated & deleted) TML and made sure all menus and pages were removed. When I installed it again, “Login” page wasn’t created. So I manually created one, but “register” menu errored out “login-2 trashed” etc. So I uninstalled it but the TML pages and menus weren’t removed. I removed them manually.
When I tried to install it again, the activation failed as “theme-my-login” directory in the server wasn’t removed during uninstall. Once I deleted that directory, the install didn’t fail. However, none of TML pages or menus were created. So I manually created the pages and menus, but weird this started to show, For example, “Register” menu displayed “login” page, etc.
Only the very first time I installed TML, it seemed to work, as the subsequent installation failed to create the complete list of TML pages/menus. So I strongly suspect the uninstallation left some footprint somewhere, and as a result the reinstallation didn’t create some pages/menus.
Is it stored in the database?
What else do I need to make my website clean if I really want to uninstall TML?
That way, I can reinstall TML in the future. Thanks and Looking forward to hearing the answer.
