how do I stop quotation marks from creating forward slashes

  • I have product add-on text box areas for a few of my products where my customers enter information such as dimensions and radius’s. When you type in a number such as 6′ 10″ (six feet ten inches) into one of these text box areas, it shows up as 6/ 10/ on the backside. By “backside” I mean when that same data is then provided in the shopping cart, email, order confirmation, etc, I get the forward slashes instead of the foot and inch quotation marks.
    Anyone know how to correct this please?
