Disable all your plugins and see if the problem persists.

Okay.. disabling all plugins didn’t help..

It actually does it on the editor side… as soon as I hit “publish” – the page refreshes and in the editor itself it shows the extra ones as well..

It’s hard to believe that nobody else is having this issue?

That it’s not been widely reported suggests that it is an issue with your specific environment.

I’d be tempted to upload the source zip again, in case some files did not upload properly, such as the editor files.

Just a guess here, but were you using latin1 encoding on your previous install? If so, you may need to open the wp-config.php file and change the encoding setting from utf8 to latin1

This isn’t ideal, but if it’s being caused by an encoding issue then this may fix it.

Just switch to latin1 and now my site is riddle with:

Is there anything in the php.ini file which would throw this off?
