I am trying to change the header image using the interface. I pick my picture, click upload, and then it brings me back to the theme page.

It is supposed to bring me to the page to crop the image to the proper size. I am new to wordpress with godaddy.

Is there a bug in the program?

    Any help would be great.

The only other solution I have is that I manually create an image to size and replace it in the folder but I prefer not doing that.

Being that it is not possible to change header images “via (the)an interface”, it appears you are using wordpress.COM as a host, rather than self-hosted wordpress. That being the case – you are in the wrong place to ask your question. You need to address this to the wordpress.com support forum.

no I am using self hosting. I am using a template that allows the user to change the header image.

This is the URL I am using to edit the interface: https://tryforce.ca/news/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-header

That’s actually the best way to do it.
