Random search results not loading properly

  • Hi,
    Great plugin. I’m just having trouble with the ‘random,’ search results for my website. The first page loads fine, but when I click on the button at the bottom of the page to load more results, I keep getting repeats of the same posts from the first page.

    I think its because the next page is also ‘random,’ and so it will randomly pick any posts, regardless of whether they have been shown before.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    No I didn’t fix it. I just changed the limit on how many posts were displayed so it showed them all at once. Not an ideal solution but it was all I could come up with

    maybe I looked somewhere else then, i clicked the random button in the menu.

    Oh yeah that section should still have the problem. If you click ‘next’ a bunch of times you start seeing the same posts coming up.

    I changed the results fOr the regular search function so that it displays all posts at once.

    I can’t reproduce it. I clicked random and checked the first 5 pages, all showed different posts.
