• Every time I turn on the visual editor, all of my pages get filled with

. I don’t know why this is happening. When working in html mode, everything is fine. Is there some setting I am missing? Could it be a plugin?

Thanks in advance,

• I have this problem too. Any solutions?

Did anyone find a reason for this? It mostly affects my images and started after upgrading to TINY mce advance editor?

Ping me at polishing peanuts if you find out any more!
Thanks
Ian

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Coo! faaasst!
Like I say I suspect that it is my editor plugin from TINY mce. I wonder if unplugging it and re-installing it will work. I am loathe to get rid of it as it is so useful!
Is there any alternative way of boosting the editor I also wonder?
Thanks esmi!

You could try temporarily deactivating your other plugins and see if that has any effect. It might help to confirm whether the issue is with that plugin or whether there’s a conflict with another plugin.

Which advanced editor are you using? And what version of WP?
