Enabled product ticked off at variable products level still shown in the listing

Hi,

I tick off ‘enable’ some of the colors of products that I don’t have in stock so that those colors won’t show in the color selection in my listings but now it shows all the colors since updates. How do I fix that? I don’t want all the color to show in my listing because that will confuse my customers.
