• I’ve seen this happen to other people on this forum and yet they all have this cPanle.
I have my own Linux webserver running Apache+PHP+MySQL .. I use phpMyAdmin to manage my DBs.
I’ve done all that was needed to give permission (like I always do with everything else) to that new user to the new DB and yet I still get this error:
Error establishing a database connection! This probably means that the connection information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect. Double check it and try again.
Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
    Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Shai

Wow, you are quick to reply ?? !!!
    No, not whitespace whatsoever.

Well, for sure this isn’t a WordPress problem. I assume you are able to run PHP scripts? Your server is set up properly to pass PHP code over to the PHP engine for processing?
Just a couple of quick guesses…

I feel so stupid right now ??
I was installing the site on one server and was using phpMyAdmin on my other server ?? Oops… my bad ! DB was created on my other webserver.
    Sorry for the trouble ??
