Elements of research not translated with Polylang

    Hey,
    I use plugin Polylang with Virtue theme free version (last version) in 3 websites.
    All parts of the these websites are well translated except for search items that are still in English
    “Search” in search form
    “Search Results for xxx”, “Sorry, no results were found” … in search page results.
    I don’t know if the problem comes from Polylang or Virtue.

  • Hey,
    So those strings need to be translated in the language files for french and dutch.
    But specifically fr-BE (French Belgium) and not fr-fr standard French.
    and specifically nl-BE (Dutch Belgium) and not nl-nl standard Dutch.

    The theme doesn’t have translations for every language especially not every sublanguage.

    So you just need to install this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/

    Then create translations for French Belgium and Dutch Belgium. In those translations, you can translate things like search.

    I replaced fr-BE by fr-FR and nl-BE by nl-NL and it works perfectly.
