    Hi,

The Review button which is in the review reminder mail is translated by “Avis” which sound weird in french.

I’d like to change that by “Je donne mon avis” but I don’t know how.

I tried to edit the translation file, but 1) it doesn’t work and 2) even if it did I can’t find the string that correspond to this button.

Is there another way to change that ? Maybe by editing a php file ?

The plugin seems great but translation issues are a problem.

    Best regards

    Thanks for trying my plugin!

I’d be happy to update French translation. However, your suggestion “Je donne mon avis” is a bit too long. Can you please make it one word?

All buttons are multilingual, so we have to make sure that length of texts in different languages is more or less similar. Thanks for understanding.

Review is a verb and a noun. But in french, “avis” is only a noun. So it sounds weird.

“Je donne mon avis” would be great. It makes it clear for the customer that, by clicking on the button, he will comment/review the product.

I Undertand this sentence is a bit too long, but it’s hard to make it one word. But if you can make it two short words, “mon avis” would be better (without any capital letter). That way, I could add some text before the button “OK je donne” and make it work nicely ??

Thank you, the plugin looks great, I noticed a few other bugs / translation problems, but less important than this one (for me). I’ll probably buy the premium version to be able to use the reviews summary bar ??

I checked “Je donne mon avis” in Google Translate and it is translated as “I give my opinion”. Unfortunately, this is too many words.

Is it possible to translate “Leave a review” to French? Perhaps, it will be shorter than “Je donne mon avis”?

    “Evaluer” would be ok.

Should it be written as “évaluer” or “Evaluer”?

Both are corret but “évaluer” might be slightly better ??

Updated. Should be “évaluer” on new emails.
