wordpress on localhost

  • i am running xp with wamp and wordpress working fine on lacalhost / lan .
    all sites are accessable from direct ip of my dsl when any one connect through my ip, but…

    when ever i try on wordpress or wordpress mu on my localhost it also work fine only on localhost or computer ip on my lan but when any when try to see my site from my ip then there is nothing to display, 404 error and thats it.

    i seach every where but not found any where what is going with me, any help regarding thid issue?
