Administration Panel

If you have wordpress installed in your root directory, then the link to the admin panel should be

https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin

I am so, so confused. I just downloaded this and then went to the doc section for help. they keep talking about starting in the administration panel. I can’t even find anywhere where it says that! Can anyone help me?

You can find the administrator panel for your blog at:

If blog installed on home directory:
https://yourdomianname.com/wp-admin

if blog installed on sub directory:
https://yourdomianname.com/blogdirectory/wp-admin

I have looked at each of these directories and it is not there. Any suggestions?
