I just upgraded to PHP 8.0 from 7.4 and when I did, this plugin caused the site to go down with a critical error. When I disable the plugin, everything is fine.

Installation instructions require a manual upload into the backend of wordpress and they say “Please download archive and install it on your wordpress website in plugin management section. This plugin enable full set of premium features in plugin.”
Being a reasonably well versed WP developer, I presume this means into the 2j-slideshow plugin directory.
1) You shouldn’t need to ftp a file onto your site to get a license working
2) They should give clear step by step instructions. The FAQ on their website goes to an error page
No reply from my support ticket after 24hrs. My client is getting impatient.
Time to get a refund and find another plugin. This is a WASTE OF MY TIME and why I decided to go for a Pro version in the first place!

So I bought the premium version of this plugin but I never received the product/license. They just took my money and said bye.
I’ve contacted them 24 hours ago but have yet to receive a reply.
I really hope I don’t get scammed. Will update this review when there are any updates.

I tried a test slider & deleted it to create another from scratch.
But the plugin wouldn’t let me; saying that I can have only 1 slider in free version.
Deleting the first slider should allow us to create another.
deactivating, Uninstalling, reactivating and reinstalling didn’t work either! I even went to MySQL database to check instances of the previous slider, but even that didn’t work!
Was a painful experience. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I needed a crossfading slider and this is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t have an issue with lazy loading, which is embedded into the fabric of my site’s theme. Very easy to set up, also. Thanks!

Functionality of the slideshow is simple and effective at the same time. Slideshow interface is very user friendly. I try to use this plugin as header slider of my wordpress theme and it was integrated with shortcode plugin without any problems.

Actually this slideshow plugin is a great plugin. But:
-1 because it does not mention that this is a demo version and has limitations
-1 again because it allows you to create only 1 slideshow
-1 again because it wasted my time
I uninstalled it immediately after I found those 3 reasons above. Sorry to give it low rating, I felt cheated.
