Okay, yes, it does have a learning curve. You can’t just activate this plugin and immediately breeze through adding products to your site. However, once you’ve put in the time and effort to learn how to use it, it’s great. I don’t know any other way I could have set up a site with close to 3000 Amazon product listings without taking forever and losing my mind in the process.
I should mention that Ivan was great at answering several questions I emailed him when I first started using it, always responding within a few hours.

Cannot get this plugin to work at all. I tried to import by asin and I get nothing! If one wants anything useful, you have to pay for each little feature. Wouldn’t be so bad to pay for extra features if the free versions just worked, but it does not. Totally unuseful plugin.

I didn’t have any problems setting it up and importing.
It seems to work really well.
There are, however, some options you might want to include.
First allow a category to be set for each of the imports that way you can easily setup a menu item using just that category or maybe even create a custom post type for the items.
Also, It would be nice to be able to over write the description for each item. Also The headers for the products are h1. Not sure if it came from the plugin or the theme. Having the option to choose a different header level would help.
Upload and selecting products was a easy. Nice Job

To the two 1-star comments: if you can’t figure out how to use this plugin, just stop using WordPress or ANY Web CMS that requires more that 5 minutes of your time to be well configured.
To all people:
This plugin lacks some documentation. Though, it is working well!
All you have to do, is to prepare your WP site, make your theme and other plugins ready, THEN install and go with 2kbAAS.
Because it requires that you create an affiliate account on Amazon, that will be active for a little amount of time, until some people from Amazon does effectively CHECK that your website is following their policy.
So, you need to activate your affiliate account, generate your affiliate key (everything, even links to amazon, is indicated in the plugin pages)
Then, once your affiliate key is registered in the plugin, you can add the products you want in the admin section. The fastest way is to use the “Import by ASIN”, where you just have to look for the ASIN number on any amazon product.
If you don’t have amazon products on your website on the time when they do their checks, your account will be disabled and you will be warned by email. That happened to me, but after a kind e-mail to their service my account was reactivated and then I was able to import products from Amazon into 2kbAAS.
Then finally the hardest part is to configure the “products attributes” because there is a really long list of attributes that are not always explicit. So you have to test what is the goal of each attribute, and choose the ones you will want to display on your products pages.
The reason I don’t give 5 stars is the lack of documentation, and complexity of attributes.
[EDIT] after upgrading the plugin I saw a “Docs & FAQ” section in the 2kb admin page. Nearly everything is here! Thanks guys!

You can’t be serious about a plugin that has ABSOLUTELY NO documentation. You don’t even link to your own website from the WP plugin page. Maybe later…
