If your WordPress install is in the domain root this appears to work ok, however our install is in a sub-folder (https://www.mydomain.com/mywpfolder) and therefore the links need to point to “wp_content/” not “/wp_content”.
Also, editing the post in Visual mode, the image does not display if it has a relative url.
As it stands we can’t use the plugin, but if this could be fixed it would be perfect for us.

We have a client with a WP multisite implementation, 3000 users, 1000 items in media content and a need to run development and country sites. To implement this, we wanted to be able to use relative URLs so that when site was cloned, it wouldn’t require an extra step(s) to clean up media URLs in the content. This plugin does exactly that – if – you either don’t have attached media when you start using it or you have done a script pass in the content to clean up all your URLs before you start using it.
So – if you don’t have a lot of content, if you are not a developer working on a site you want to move to production without having to clean up a lot of URLs – this plugin is probably just a distraction from the simple process of running standard cleanup routines and getting on with your implementation
But – if the opposite is true – grab it. It will save you a lot of time in the long run.
