Also, is it Accessibility Widget compatible with Avada Theme?
Thank you!

Hi I use Accessibility Widget in my WordPress Site and I get these messages
Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /wp-content/plugins/accessibility-widget/accessibility-widget.php on line 108
Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; widget_accesstxt has a deprecated constructor in /wp-content/plugins/accessibility-widget/accessibility-widget.php on line 11
Will you fix them?

]]>Hello,
I’m using your accessibility widget with the “widget in menu” widget. It displays the accessibility widget fine in the footer menu but does not in the menu underneath the header. I’m using the primer theme with the hero subtheme.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Fred
Hi there.
I was wondering how hard it is to add html title text when hovering over (in my case) the letters indicating the size increase / decrease to the font?
Thanks for any help in advance.
]]>hi there,
since wp 4.3.0 the constructor method of WP_Widget in widget_accesstxt is deprecated, debug mode says. it is advised to “use __construct() instead”.
will you update this plugin accordingly, sometime soon?
for those who don’t want to wait, i found a way to get rid of the bug by changing some code in accessibilitywidget.php (in /wpcontent/plugins/accessibility-widget/):
on line 13, i changed
parent::WP_Widget(false, $name = ‘Accessibility Widget’);
to
]]>WP_Widget::__construct(false, $name = ‘Accessibility Widget’);
I am not having any luck at all inserting <?php do_action(‘widget_accesstxt’); ?> into my templates. The theme is just not responding.
]]>Is there a shortcode to use for a page-by-page use of the accessibility widget? I tried [do_widget “accesstxt”] but it does not work.
Thanks ??
Great plugin, please add the already suggested cookie option.

]]>HI,
Just wondering…
will this plugin be updated to wp version 4.3?
Thanks!
]]>I can’t turn it off and it is in the way when I try and read a page. I created a wordpress account on the main site just to deal with this issue as the website I am reading gives us admin privileges. I just want to turn it off.
]]>Did some maintenance on client’s site and upgraded to 4.1.1 and now the plugin has stopped working. Not sure if there’s an easy fix or if there’s a conflict going on, but wanted some clarification that it does work on 4.1.1 before I go back to client.
]]>I really like this plugin and works well.
The description says “Adds a sidebar widget to change text size in your WP site. Future feature: change colour contrast.”
Please could you update version 1.2 so that changing colour contrast is available.
Thank you
]]>Hello Lorna,
great plugin, and very useful to my community group’s members, who are mostly elderly and many sight-impaired.
Did you ever get ’round to coding the fix for the resizing widget, as per your exchange with dankrosso?
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/stop-widget-text-from-resizing?replies=2#post-3746522
I will see whether I can fathom your fix you suggested to him, a year ago, but I am not a coder of any skill, just the odd, minor fix and mostly by trial and error.
Even if you could just point me in the direction of the file I should be looking at?
I am using the latest version of WordPress and theme is Tempera.
Many thanks for the fantastic plugin and for any help you can offer.
Best regards.
Gea
Hi Lorna
Do you have a site where I can see your plugin at work, from the end user’s point of view rather than the web developer’s?
I am using a theme and would like the option of changing the text size globally. https://www.team-insight.co.uk
Thanks
Graham
]]>Great plugin! Works the best out of all I’ve tried when I used it in the sidebar.
However, I need to use it in the header of my site but nothing displays if use the code you suggest:
<?php do_action('widget_accesstxt'); ?>
Any suggestions on how I could get this to work with my theme files?
]]>Hello!
Is there any possibility to save the changed font size in a cookie? The font size resets when I click on an other page.
Thanks..
]]>Hello. I’d really be interested in the possibility of users changing color contrast. Any chance this is a feature coming soon?
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
Thank you for this lovely widget.
I had it working in moments. And I think might (hopes) it is going to be perfect for my audience.
I have one question however, as I size up the text the line heights compress. Is there a way I can control this so that when the text size gets bigger I can increase the line height?
