I installed the plugin does not work with Yoast. The new fields I added in the acf extension do not appear in Yoast.

The docs for this plugin say there is a box in the search appearance tab where you can add ‘Custom fields to include in page analysis’ but that box is no longer included in the plugin. I’ve installed it on three sites now, including one with no other plugins installed other than Yoast, so it doesn’t look like a compatibility issue. No answers on the plugin support page and Yoast will only look into issues for premium subscribers unfortunately. Very frustrating.

Help! This no longer appears to work – we are using WP V 5.5.1, and Yoast 14.9, And ACF Pro 5.9.1… all the latest.. just doesn’t seem to pick up things like content length and outbound links etc

Since a while now (WP 5.5 update), this plugin doesn’t work anymore. Word count stays on 0 for all pages and post types.

The “Text box” field is not analyzed. The “Readability” part is not activated. Is there a problem with this plugin? @yoast

Tudo certo, funcionou perfeitamente.

Installed this just as my site went live and it stopped half the pages loading. Mass panic as I tracked down the cause, everything worked fine when I turned it off…deleted!

Issue since November 2017 -> https://github.com/Yoast/yoast-acf-analysis/issues/120
. Support is terrible. Don’t use this plugin.

Just what I needed to connect ACF Pro to Yoast. Although I don’t need yoast to tell me if I have included everything I need to, it’s nice to see some green ticks.
After installing this plugin and writing my posts, my CPU usage went through the roof. This led to my host suspending my account until I dealt with the issue. After many hours of looking around for the culprit I came down to this one. Wasted 12 hours of my life. Thanks.

Spent way too much time trying to get this to work. Had to hire a programmer to do what this plugin said worked.
If it works for you, great. If you’re having troubles, drop it and go somewhere else.

Hello
After long hours of research, I have come to understand that ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO is the source of my problem. Indeed I am creator of wordpress themes and on a site site for photographers, the site always fell as soon as the client uploaded images in batch of 30 or 80 and even by filling only a title or just meta description of the plugin YOAST.
After uninstalling ACF Content Analysis for SEO Yoast all came back in order so this plugin is not stable at all especially when a client must often uploaded images by ACF image or ACF gallery.
Hoping for future updates
Have a good day

Must have if you use ACF

This plugin works really well but please be aware of this issue before installing on a live website: https://github.com/Yoast/yoast-acf-analysis/issues/120
Basically if you are using ACF image fields you can end up with a very high load on your web server when editing posts. On low-budget hosting platforms this could take your website offline.
As far as I know the team are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Support is good and otherwise, the plugin is great.

Amazing! Installed, worked ??

Just works – straight out of the box. Install & Activate – if you just want basic functionality, then that’s all you need to do. Perfect for handing your site off to clients if you use ACF / Yoast – without them saying ‘but I’ve written loads, why does it say I don’t have 300 words on the page … ‘! Perfect. Thanks all.

Works!

Great work guys. So far works as expected.
Just a tiny suggestion:
I found this snippet:
add_filter('ysacf_exclude_fields', function(){
return array(
'acf_fc_layout'
);
});
in this support thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/acf-flexible-content-bug/
Since (I guess) most of the people would most probably want to exclude the AFC flexible content layout name, you could update the description section in the readme to include this, so that it’s easier for people to discover.
