Although it hasn’t been updated for a year and was compatible way back to WP 4.5x, it works with my 4.9.8 installation even without adding the Custom Post Type UI Plugin that a message says it “requires”. I’ll add it still to see what enhancement there is but I prefer to create custom post types using the Generatewp.com generator and sticking it in a must use plugin.

Sorry to write a negative review but we must be pragmatic here.
I tried to use this plugin with ACF Pro and the plugin does not see ACF Pro. It still wants ACF Free installed.
The website also touts most of the important features as “planned” but these being missing capabilities make this version a weak candidate for the task. Their “Pro” version doesn’t seem to add enough to warrant the cost.
I have contacted the website but no response in days.
Lots of potential but missed the mark so far.
Happy to change my opinion if these details change.

After looking at the various plugins to accomplish what I needed for my workflow, I chose this one…and it was truly the best decision! It is EXACTLY what I needed and it works beautifully. With each update, it has gotten better and better and the developer is passionate about helping out with any issues along (I thought I experienced an “issue” one time, and the developer kindly worked through it with me. It ended up being 100% user error haha)
Definitely worth it. No regrets!

This plugin wasn’t working previously but have added support for ACF Pro now. The forms appear normally both with ACF free and ACF pro. But if fields were migrated from free to pro and they have any errors, then the form might break. In that case, you should just make sure you have proper field groups.

First, I am using ACF Pro, yet it keeps asking me to install the standard version of ACF. Should be taking ACF Pro into account. Next, I will not use the custom post type plugin as I created the post type manually and don’t need, nor want it. Saying “trust us” comes off as sketchy. There is no option to dismiss the annoying admin notice. I see the front end form on the page, but it doesn’t change when “update” is hit. It does nothing…just refreshes the page like an empty form. Was really hoping that this would work since the notes on how to create a form manually doesn’t seem to be working via the ACF documentation.
