Does what it says… combines tabs from different field groups into one tidy cluster. To kick it in you have to reload/update the page when switching templates, but that’s not too surprising. Thank you yarcheek! This should be core acf IMO, but for now we have this.

Simple. No configuration necessary, it just does what it says. Exactly what I needed.
