Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that I just released a similar plugin, compatible with latest WordPress and ACF free & pro version: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/quick-and-easy-post-creation-for-acf-relationship-fields/
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/acf-single-relationship-add-new/
]]>You need to replace .field-relationship by .field_type-relationship in the file js/asran-post.js
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/acf-single-relationship-add-new/
]]>It seems to only show the “Add New” button if the Relationship field is a sub field of a Repeater field. Creating a standalone/top-level Relationship field does not show the button.
My guess is it’s looking for HTML elements that aren’t there for the non-repeater markup. Just thought I’d give you a heads up — nice plugin ??

]]>Hi fancyfiber,
Looks like one of the later updates to Advanced Custom Fields has removed the js hook you’re using to update the relationship fields after you’ve added a new item. I’ve started a bug thread here:

thanks,

]]>Hey there,
Thanks for a great plugin. Found a bug:
I have my WordPress-core files in a subfolder, so the actual link to my wordpress admin is example.com/blog/wp-admin. On other sites I have example.com/wordpress/wp-admin. The link your system uses for the “Add New” button doesn’t take into account these other setup types.
thanks!
Scott
