I put in keys for Strip and Plaid, used the shortcode [wp_stripe_plaid] and got an empty screen.
]]>Hello mate. I’m a n0ob, I hope I’m doing this correctly? I’m sorry to bother you, but I have a basic live bands booking website, and being small, I’m not ready for major bank payment integration pages – I just need something that can help me to accept BACS (or ACH) payments on my site. My site’s based in Australia, and I’m trying to keep costs and clawbacks from major players like Paypal etc to a minimum, so I’m trying to find the best payment system to avoid all that – perhaps online invoicing for clients, or this plugin of yours for ACH options? I figured just getting clients to direct transfer funds to our business account was the safest way to go. Is this what this does, specifically – is it like issuing them an invoice for services? If so, does the customer also get the option to use a card for payment if they’re not comfortable using BACS (ACH) methods?
Thanks SO Much,
Stu
Hello, it cannot be used after installation. I can see it in the plugin list, but I don’t know where to set it? I have activated the plugin
]]>I am setting up the plugin. I am not sure what to enter for Plaid Public Key. I went to https://dashboard.plaid.com/account/keys and there is a message stating:
All implementations of Plaid created after July 23, 2020 will use a link_token instead of a public_key. To learn more, view our docs.
Where do I find a link token?
]]>Hi!
I created a new stripe account, new plaid account and got the api keys plugged in. On the form I fill in the email address and amount to test, then use login to my bank and receive an error “Internal error occurred, we have been notified about the problem”
Seems like an API issue but not sure what I’m missing.
I have “Live (Stripe) Development (Plaid)” selected on the plugin setting page which should be able to live charge the bank, right?
Thank you ??
]]>Hey Justin,
My last support post was to clarify what’s in the latest update to 1.2.8 and I went ahead and tested the update. It completely breaks the ACH payment page. Working fine on 1.2.7 and now the page is just blank. Almost as though the short code isn’t being recognized. Not sure. I reverted back and restored my site from a few hours ago, working fine again… So 1.2.8 has issues
]]>Hey Justin,
I noticed an update to the plugin to 1.2.8 can you explain a bit further what’s in that update? I don’t want to break things on our site unless this is a required update because STRIPE did something that is problematic. Can you let me know?
Thanks and stay safe.

]]>This plugin creates a breaking conflict with Gravity Forms Stripe Addon v3.4. It works fine with v3.3. https://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/stripe/
When LittleBot ACH for Stripe + Plaid is installed with Gravity Forms and Gravity Forms Stripe Addon (no other plugins, default 2020 theme) the payment form does not submit and returns a 500 error.
I can supply access to the plugin and/or a staging environment.
Their changelog for 3.4 states “Fixed an issue with Stripe feeds conflicting with feeds from other payment add-ons in the browser.”
https://docs.gravityforms.com/stripe-change-log/
Their developers say: “The other plugin is likely including an older version of the Stripe SDK that doesn’t include the necessary Stripe\PaymentIntent class mentioned in the error and that outdated SDK version would be preventing our version of the SDK bundled with the Stripe add-on from being included that does include the class mentioned in the error. Version 3.4 of the add-on uses different methods and classes to handle payment processing than 3.3, so that is likely why you’re not seeing it when running 3.3 as the methods and classes used in that version are probably included in the version of the Stripe SDK they are including.”
and “The real crux of the issue is the other plugin should not be including any version of the Stripe SDK unless it is actively being used, this is what our add-on is programmed to do with its version of the SDK. I will however pass your feedback on to the Product team for future consideration of adding a fallback for older versions of the SDK.”
]]>When clicking the button the modal pops up, but it says “Stripe / Plaid Test uses Plaid to link your bank” as if “Stripe / Plaid Test” were the site name or something. I can’t find any settings for the plugin, or anywhere on my site, or even anywhere in my Stripe or Plaid accounts that say this. So I’m not sure where it’s coming from. Any ideas?
]]>Hi Justin,
The blue dot continues to pulse as if it were trying to process the transaction. Please advise.
thank you

Hi,
I just discovered this plugin and installed in on my website. I created a new page and pasted the shortcode. I also added my stripe live secret key and the form only renders the following:
– Missing Plaid client ID
– Missing Plaid Secret
– Missing Plaid public key
I do not have a plaid account. Can you advise me on the proper setup of this plugin?
]]>Hey Justin,
Just thought I’d ask, looks like Plaid has some new features rolled out in email today. Will this have any affect on plugin functioning correctly? see below

We strive to make it easy to build the best experience for your users, which often means giving you more transparency into the state of our integrations with financial institutions. Today, we’re excited to announce additional product-level details in institution status to give you more insight into how an institution is performing across Plaid’s products.
Now in addition to Item adds, you can see institution health broken out by product, including Transactions, Balance, Auth, and Identity. Easily check the status of an institution by looking it up in the Dashboard..
]]>Have tried putting shortcode for wp_stripe_plaid into Avada Fusion Builder and then tried Classic editor and then tried Block editor. None of the above seem to parse the shortcode. All text and all content on the page goes blank but anything else shows (header, footer). Once I remove the shortcode, the page works good for displaying all other content.
Have you seen any issues with the shortcode or is there an update for this plugin. There are some composer files in the plugin folder which may lead me to believe that this is on Github. Is there an updated version or are the developers planning on bring this plugin up to speed?

Hey Justin.
LOVE this plugin and have recommended to a lot of folks.
We were wondering about the potential status of Canadian banks in the plugin. Plaid announced them in Mar 2018 and we have a client looking to expand there and use the same tools. Possible or is there a work around?
Cheers
]]>Hey Justin,
Awesome plugin – thank you for building this!
Do you have any recommendation on passing additional Metadata to Stripe for the payment? Wanted to get your 2 cents before we extend the plugin.
Cheers,
Ali
Hi Justin,
Thank you for the plugin. Is there a way to receive an email notification after the payment has been made? In addition, how can the form say Invoice Number rather than Note.
Thanksa
RObert
I can connect to plaid and select the test bank account with no problem. When i hit PAY it just hangs. This is the error i see in the logs:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Stripe\\Error\\InvalidRequest: Could not determine which URL to request: Stripe\\Token instance has invalid ID: in /nas/content/live/bmmpstaging/wp-content/plugins/ach-for-stripe-plaid/vendor/stripe/stripe-php/lib/ApiResource.php:119
on the Stripe side, I can go in and see that the customer was created (i can see the email addr I used), so I know I’m connecting to stripe. And since i’m able to select the test bank, my Plaid credentials are fine…
Up until this point, everything was progressing smoothly (awesome plugin). I’m not sure the next steps to iron out the Stripe Token ID issue.
I’m running WP 5.1.1 on WPEngine….
Thanks in advance for any help!

]]>Plugin works great, but I’m experiencing very long page load times when it is called. I encountered a few 502 bad gateway errors when trouble shooting. I activated the plugins logging feature, but didn’t receive any data. I’m also not seeing any server errors. So, I have no idea what is causing it to load so slowly on my install. FWIW, once the page loads, the plugin worked fine and I was able to complete live transactions, but the 15+ second page load times make it unusable for clients. I’m happy to help trouble shoot this if you have any thoughts on how to do so.
]]>Thanks for this plugin. My first attempt with test keys worked perfectly.
Can you please tell me how to edit the default form?
I inserted the shortcode [wp_stripe_plaid] and it automatically grabbed my wordpress email and sent it to stripe as a new customer.
I would like to be able to lock the amount, email and Note, so that the customer will only receive a single url with details of the amount, his email and description and they can only click on the “Select Bank Account” option.
If locking is not possible at least to be able to allow email input.
Thanks a lot
]]>Hey Justin,
I noticed you dropped an update. Can you summarize changes in this version? I’ll give it a try. Cheers
]]>Hey @jwind
Happy New year. Question, I had the plugin working fine a couple weeks back, after all the troubleshooting we did in previous thread. I tested today, after upgrading plugin to 1.2.2 and after authenticating with Chase bank, I submit the payment, and now it just hangs. This is the problem I started with last time. The latest version notes said you added “Make call to Plaid production environment instead of “live”, does that mean it doesn’t support the live PRODUCTION environment, where you can do 100 transactions free? That would break it for smaller users. Please clarify, otherwise I”m not sure why it’s hanging again and not going through. I had made two payments, one through Chase and one through Wells, a few weeks back.
]]>I get this console error.
initially on load of the page
Error: Invalid env: "live". env must be "sandbox", "development" or "production".
then, when I try to search banks
POST https://cdn.plaid.com/institutions/search 403 (Forbidden)
I use Live (Stripe) Production (Plaid)
It seems working fine with Live (Stripe) Development (Plaid)
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
]]>Plaid Link Charged Customer Twice
@justinwhall Thanks again for all of your work and for being responsive. I’m not sure why, but after the customer did the following, it charged her twice (I can see both charges in stripe, 1 second apart:
1.) Logged in.
2.) Entered dollar amount of invoice.
3.) Clicked “Select Bank Account”.
4.) Validated bank account.
5.) Plaid Link window dissappears.
6.) Customer clicked “Pay.
Is it possible for the customer/website to keep clicking the pay button multiple times and have it charge?
]]>I have the plugin installed & the plaid account activated to production and stripe added in the plaid account & ACH enabled in Stripe. But when I add the shortcode and try to make a transaction, no banks show up.
Please view the page and see that it doesn’t work. If you need to log in to do it (& I’m not sure if/why this is necessary) please use user: testuser and 5lVgh1!3Lm26Lb1HcfHPMBph as password.
Thanks.
]]>Hey @jwind
Not sure this is the plugin’s bug, or something with Stripe / Plaid. I did a couple test transactions and they have now cleared. When logging in Chase bank, the transaction has processed successfully after a couple days, but it says “Company Company Company CCD ID: 123456789 (I’ve replaced those with generic) in the description. So the name of my stripe account appears to be repeated 3 times in a row. Is this plugin bug?
update: confirmed this is happening in Wells Fargo also, but, it repeats 3 times + the actual STRIPE account name.
]]>Hi,
I’m getting this error when I try to pay after selecting my account
wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error)
Do you already know what’s wrong? or Where I should start investigating the problem?
Thank you in advance!
]]>Hello. I’ve signed up for both Stripe Live and Plaid Development mode. The institution search comes up fine when using the test credentials, but not the live credentials.
Do I have to wait for approval (and pay) for Plaid production mode before this will work?
Thank you.
]]>I’ve had to remove it from the website because users won’t be able to use it. If you reply to this I can implement it again for a few hours to resolve.
On my page I added For ACH payments: [wp_stripe_plaid]
LIVE website reflects this: For ACH payments: Log in to make a payment (this link opens up the WordPress Login page for my site)
However in WordPress dashboard > View Site in WordPress shows it displays properly, when I update site the LIVE site does not look like the Preview
I’ve already tried this:
1. I’ve deactivated the plugin and then started over, adding API keys again etc.
2. I’ve tested in Chrome and Safari, on laptop and mobile
3. I’ve cleared cache.
4. And deleted all several times and started over
5. Also did it all again the next day.
I’m not sure how long it’ll take to get a reply to this but as soon as you respond I can load it to the site again. Thanks.
