Hello, I’m having issues getting this plugin to work properly. All I can get to display is the Search Box, but no users whatsoever. (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BLnTj5uCQAAxldr.png)
Here is the setup:
WordPress 3.5.1
Active Directory Authentication Integration (dev 0.6)
(Originally used AD Integration by Christoph Steindorff.
Active Directory Employee Listing (dev 0.3)
It could be just that I don’t have it setup correctly, maybe a miss-configuration?
I do have AD Auth. Int. working properly.
Below is a screencap of settings page, maybe I’m missing something?

I don’t know what’s wrong and I’m accepting any suggestions.

]]>Hi,
I’m just looking into using this plugin for my companies intranet. I was wondering how the Search Form is implemented. You say in your documentation:
Search form – a simple search form (the input keyword is searched against all fields being retrieved) is provided
How do you implement this form? Is it via a short-code or do you use the widget?
Cheers

This is a single site using WP 3.4.1 on Linux.
Any ideas as to why this might be?
Thanks.

However, I still get this error:
LDAP Not Supported
Your PHP configuration does not appear to support LDAP connections; therefore, the Active Directory Employee List plug-in will not work at all. It is recommended that you deactivate the plug-in until you are able to update your PHP configuration to support LDAP.
What might I be missing to get this to activate correctly?
Thanks

So, my widgets page is broken if I keep this plugin activated. Am I missing something?
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/active-directory-employee-list/
]]>I’m using the latest version 0.2.1a and wordpress 3.4.2
I’ve tried adding a widget as can be seen from the screenshot https://i.imgur.com/kZEuf.png but when I press search, it says no employees could be found. Ideally I would like the widget to work as it is exactly what I want to put on our front page.
I also tried to put [ad-employee-list] into a page. This works brilliantly apart from one issue. Before I type in any names, it lists a huge number records as can be seen from this screenshot https://i.imgur.com/wk3ze.png If I type in a name that I want to search, it brings up the right result.
edit: I’m also using AD authentication Integration as I read there might be some conflicts.
Also trying out 0.30 now.

I can pull my AD with no problem, but I’m pulling all accounts and when I specify my group to pull, it doesnt.
Then if I try to search by a name, nothing.
Anyone have a suggestion?

Any remedy? Thanks in advance,

]]>Hi Curtiss,
Thank you for this plugin.
We have it set up using the development version and do not have the authentication plugin enabled.
We can see the AD groups so it is connecting to the ldap server.
When we search either using the widget or the shortcode in a page, the search results take us to the site homepage with a message that no results were found.
Most of the settings were left at the default settings – is there something we need to change in the output in order to get a result?
Thank you for your help. Joan

]]>Hi. I’m looking around for a good staff directory and wanted to try yours. When I use it, either by shortcode or widget, I get the following errors:

widget version:
Call to a member function user_info() on a non-object in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/active-directory-employee-list/classes/class-active-directory-employee-list-output.php on line 327

It’s the message that WP returns when I try to activate the extension.
Hope you will find a solution because your extension is very promising, especially the search form for the visitor to just list few members and not the list of all members.
Thanks
