I installed this plugin, it worked fine but the widgets in the page that i added posts have changed place from the right sidebar to the left and i can’t edit it.What can i do?Thank you.

thanx for this excellent plugin, it does the trick I need to implement however there is a setting in Yoast SEO (and other SEO plugins with the same functionality setting) that break the plugin functionality. The setting i am referring to is:
“Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL.”
which i need to set it to “remove”.
The problem is even stranger because i have tried to set the posts i need to include in one page with tag based like:
[add_posts tags=”about” show=”3″ h=”2″ full=”true” img=”false”]
but i get the same problem. I have even tried to used posts in a page or posts in a post but i always get the same result, my page/post is breaking and is presented like a normal page or post.
What am i doing wrong?
Is there a way to have “Read more” be preceded by an arrow or chevron?
If I use the more tag in a page, I get a black circle with a white chevron (as an example, see https://connecttesting.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/fa-chevron-circle-right_39_0_ffffff_none.png).

Hi — I’ve been using your plugin for several sites and it worked perfectly until the update to WordPress 4.4. Now it just displays the shortcode, as if the plugin isn’t installed (it doesn’t throw any other errors).

I have a post which contains a video clip hosted on Youtube (a film trailer in fact). If you view the post the video is displayed and can be played. However, if I add this post to a page I just see the URL of the video rather than the video itself.
My shortcode is:

]]>My requirement is to show the full content of the latest post in a specified category on a page.
Having checked out various plugins this seems like my best bet. This all works fine except for one issue.
When the “full” parameter is set to true then the thumbnail (featured image) appears ABOVE the post text and not alongside it. This is different behaviour to when full=false, and indeed when displaying the post on a page of its own.

I have been fighting this on and off for a few months, but finally found the answer. My icon images are 66×66. Not sure if that matters or not.

Keep tweaking the px size until your list looks right to you. Test on a mobile device as well. I have found that ‘vertical-align’ is useless since it doesn’t seem to help.

]]>Hello – I’m using this to dedicate a page to posts tagged Whole30. I want the full article to show up and it looks nice, except there are more posts here than there should be. I removed the Whole30 tag from several posts, but they still show up on the page. Here is what I’m using.

I removed the tags from the posts I don’t want to show up on this page, but they show up anyway. Do I need to de-activate and re-do this process to make it work? Will this automatically pull in new posts?

Hi, I downloaded your plugin but it always show entire post. I added a “read more” breakpoint into my posts and added [add_posts category=news full=false readmore=???????]into my page. please see my site then you can see what is purpose of this topic.
It works nicely with “normal” post categories, but not with Custom Post Types Categories, as far as I can see. Though that’s what we need.
Any solution for that?

]]>This may have happened because I updated to wordpress version 4.1, is there any way to trouble shoot this? I use my wordpress as a photography page and when you click one of my more recently posted images it redirects to the home page and says “page not found” on the tab.

]]>Maps using Google-Maps-GPX-Viewer are disabled by the plugin.
The line $content = wpautop(do_shortcode($content)); is to blame.
Presumably this line is altering the shortcode of the map plugin and stopping it working.
Editing the plugin and removing ‘do_shortcode’ the functionality is restored: $content = wpautop($content);
Only thing is I don’t know what other consequences this might have.
