Hi,
Great plugin !
I’m testing it on WP 5.6.1 with BP and it seems to work. How to delete the cache please, because it seems it keeps the chosen text. Only on pages I don’t visited I see my changes.
I use your plugin with PWS plugin.
Regards ??
I have added the plugin and also worked on the necessary settings but nothing is happening.
Any suggestion to this

Any idea?

Hi
I would love to use this plugin, but unfortunately it crashes the “near me” search on the installed PWA version of my page after activating the plugin.
Maybe you can help me further?
Thanks
Hi,
thanks for your plugin, it seems to work fine except for one little problem:
There’s a “null” before the installation promt on iphone safari. So it says “nullInstall this web app on your iPhone: tap …. ”
The null also stays if i change the text.
Also, should this work on iphone’s chrome?
Thanks for your support,
Daniel
I have a little problem when add to home screen say “App” no My website name, How Fix This?

I keep getting this error on the front end:
“Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘addmetawebcapablelinks’ not found or invalid function name in…\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php”
On the backend, I was getting this error:
“Warning: include(…/wp-content/plugins/add-to-home-screen-wp/options.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …\assets\plugins\add-to-home-screen-wp\index.php on line 80”
I fixed the second error by changing line 80 on the file add-to-home-screen-wp\index.php from:
include(self::file_path(‘options.php’));
to:
include plugin_dir_path(__FILE__).’options.php’;
But I have no idea where the problem is for the error on the front. You might want to think about using native WordPress functions for file/directory paths instead of whatever that “self::file_path” is. Makes it a lot less likely your plugin with throw errors.
Hey there,
I have tried your plugin in latest IOS using a browser like a safari, but it’s not working, could you please check it? I keep testing on different devices but not working.
Hi,
I just installed SuperPWA with your plugin and for iOS this works perfect. But I am looking for a solution to show the ‘add to homescreen’-bubble on both platforms.
Is there some setting wrong on my site that is preventing it to work on Android?
Please let me know,
With kind regards,
Hi! Great to see your plugin is resurrected! Perfect timing as I have just installed superwpa. However your popup is still not showing on apple phones, might there be something I am doing wrong, for example are there certain types of plugins that may clash with it? Appreciate any suggestions, thanks!
A few errors show up if you are in debug mode:
Notice: Use of undefined constant drop – assumed ‘drop’ in /wp-content/plugins/add-to-home-screen-wp/options.php on line 126
Notice: Use of undefined constant homeonly – assumed ‘homeonly’ in /wp-content/plugins/add-to-home-screen-wp/options.php on line 230
Notice: Use of undefined constant allpages – assumed ‘allpages’ in wp-content/plugins/add-to-home-screen-wp/options.php on line 231
Basically you need to find those lines and put quotes around the strings:
For example:
Was:echo selected(get_option('pagetarget'),homeonly);
Should be:
echo selected(get_option('pagetarget'),'homeonly');
Even so, I cannot get this to work; difficult to test because the phone wants to cache everything!
Could you make this an add-on for the plugin Super PWA? That plugin lacks this feature and they have just released support for add-ons.
Thanks for the great plugin.
Can I only set the hint window for a single page?
Many thanks for your response.
Greetings

Good job on the plugin!
Any plan on updating to support android? The latest Cubiq script now supports android.
Thanks.
I really love this plugin! Is there a way I could keep my external links in the fullscreen view instead of opening mobile Safari? All of my internal links work great. It’s just the ones that take me to a new page. I need them to go to a separate page from the browser but would like to keep it contained to the fullscreen mobile app for mobile devices. Thanks in advance.

hi on a iphone 6 if i search for my website (www.kawaii.com)
it doesn’t show me my custom message and no icon.
i can’t find the reason for this problem. it looks like my cellphone is using a standard text ( in my local language, which is german).

Appreciate any help. Thx

Hi,
Plugin 1.1 on WordPress 4.0.1, viewed on iOS8.1.1 doesn’t seem to work; no bubble seems to be showing up.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
Hi, this is a great plugin.
one thing though, is it possible to make the popup message to disappear after the users have added to the homescreen?
Also, it doesn’t work with Android devices, does it?
I’m using a custom folder instead of wp-content on my site. The plugin works as far as adding the functionality. But when trying to go to the options page there is a php error because the plugin seems to ignore the WP_CONTENT_DIR and WP_CONTENT_URL set in my wp-config.
Craziest thing really.
I had the full screen working great, but just for the homepage. I have a Recently Updated widget that posts the current posts in order and if I tap on those, I stay in full screen mode.
If I tap on my Nav buttons to see other pages, I get kicked back to to Safari every time.
Using Divi Theme from Elegant Themes, but I doubt that is the issue. Any one else run into this?
