Is this plugin compatible with WP 6.0.2?
Unable to activate this plugin, error is:
The plugin does not have a valid header.
I’m updating the plugin by WP update_core
It says there’s a version 6.2.7 available, but then it start downloading https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/addthis-all.3.2.7.zip
Then the version is 3.2.7 and it says again 6.2.7 is available.
Am I missing something or there’s a bug somewhere in the update?
Hi, does anyone know if this plugin is still being actively maintained? For months now the bit.ly integration doesn’t work on twitter share buttons and today share counts for Facebook have disappeared. Plugin hasn’t been updated and emails to AddThis support go unanswered. Can anyone recommend a decent alternative with a similar feature set? Thanks in advance for any replies.
Hi there,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am having issues with this tool all of a sudden. I have copied and pasted the tool in the correct place I think, but for some reason I am unable to see these buttons on AMP pages. I have followed this tutorial to do so: https://www.screencast.com/t/jr7omX3t1
Do you have any idea why the buttons are no longer there? They seemed to have worked last month. I would like them to only appear on blog posts.
Thank you for your time and best wishes,
Dory

Hi, I am using the AMP plugin since last few months along with Addthis Sharing Serves for regular webpages, but I could not show the share button on AMP pages. I tried so many ways to add the header code and widget code in the amp pages. Finally, I inserted the header code using the child theme’s functions.php files. But the problem is I could not find any place for the widget code in the amp plugin’s single.php file. Even I don’t know where to place that code. I already tried to use the following tutorials.
https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-addthis
https://www.addthis.com/academy/how-to-install-addthis-inline-share-buttons-on-amp-accelerated-mobile-pages/
But as I already said, I could not find the
code
portion, it is not working. Please help me to solve this.
Greetings,
I have a strange problem, when I share anything from the site…it works great, shortening the URL and adding a page title to share on platform (twitter/whatsapp etc)…EXCEPT with Posts! (ie blog posts and similar). It works fine with ‘pages’ but not post types.
Its really strange and I cannot figure it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
For example:
undefined https://bit.ly/ via @sitename
(“undefined”, instead of post title)
Thank you!
Share Buttons by AddThis: Version 6.1.8
Hello,
Install it today and get an AMP google error:

??
Thank you
Nicos
I just updated the addthis plugin to the latest version and I got this error –
Notice: register_uninstall_hook was called incorrectly. Only a static class method or function can be used in an uninstall hook. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.0.) in /var/www/alifewellbalanced/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4147
So then I deactivated the plugin and it’s fine. Then I deleted it completely to try and install an old version but I can’t find an old version online.
When I try to add the plugin again, I get these errors. What can I do?

Hello there
We are using 3.0.0 version of the plugin, and we are getting a lot of these errors
NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: toolObject in wp-content/plugins/addthis-all/backend/AddThisPlugin.php on line 1433
NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in wp-content/plugins/addthis-all/backend/AddThisPlugin.php on line 1433
Having a look at the file, we confirm the variable isn’t defined neither in the method nor in the class.
Looking at the original code, we realize that the shortCode might come from the foreach variable rather than the object property
foreach ($shortCodes as $shortCode => $callback) {
if ($this->shortcodeExists($toolObject->shortCode)) {
continue;
}
add_shortcode($shortCode, $callback);
}
We modified the code as follows
foreach ($shortCodes as $shortCode => $callback) {
if ($this->shortcodeExists($shortCode)) {
continue;
}
add_shortcode($shortCode, $callback);
}
There are no more errors related to the undefined variable, but does it makes sense to you?
PHP version is 5.4.16 and is run using FPM
Thank you in advance
I’m using v3.0.0 and getting a bunch of notices and warnings when in debug mode. I haven’t encountered any actual errors yet, but it doesn’t matter. When a couple dozen notices spit out every time you load a page it becomes very difficult to do anything in debug mode without disabling the offending plugin. Are you guys testing in debug mode to make sure it is usable before shipping?

Hi,
in order to prevent the AddThis from injecting in the head all of the styles for all of the possible tools (we just use Share Sidebar and Inline Share Buttons) I am trying to use addthis_config
in the plugin setting with {"ui_use_css":"false"}
or {"ui_use_css":false}
but none of them seems to have the expected result.
Bitly link shortening is not working. I have my Bitly login and API code entered on the AddThis site, and I have “Bitly URL Shortening for Twitter” enabled in the plugin’s Advanced Settings on the WordPress site. Any idea why the links won’t shorten or what I need to do?
Try any of these pages to test:

I must say I’m really disappointing. Did you bother to test this version before publishing it?

I’m having an issue with the Website Tools by AddThis WordPress plugin and the GoodLife template by Fuelthemes.
The addthis sharing toolbar loading on an article is fine, but is not shown on articles loaded by infinite scroll:
https://gaming.softonic.com/blog/2016/04/22/usara-luigi-su-mirada-de-la-muerte-en-esta-trepidante-carrera-de-mario-kart-8/
I tried adding this:
if (typeof window.addthis !== ‘undefined’) {
addthis.toolbox();
}
and
if (typeof window.atnt !== ‘undefined’) {
window.atnt();
}
in the ajax callback of the infinite scroll but with no results. I also tried to get help from the developers of the template, but they couldn’t find a solution.
Could you please help me?
Kind regards
