Works w/ PHP 8.3 + WP6.6.1
Since references that I can find for WP core for menu items go back to early 2010, I don’t think this plugin has to be updated frequently. It does the job real quick. I super appreicate the dev’s effort on this.

How is this not more popular? Does noone else have this pain point?
I’ve been creating a wordpress site for about 3 weeks now and I’ve already begun to feel claustrophobic on the standard admin panel. This functionality truly needs to be a part of wordpress itself. If it wasn’t for the wordpress community like this plugin developer it would be the worst platform ever to work on. Thank god for the third parties.
I understand that WordPress can’t do it all and I wouldn’t want them to, but This and apps like Branda need to come pre installed on wordpress. The admin side has seen no love for many years now. come on automattic. Step it up or you will lose your user base to wix, webflow and the like. Don’t think that because it’s open source it’ll be popular forever.

WP menu bar gets messy. This plugin helps to clean it up, and do it very fast. It does what other plugins don’t allow – 2nd level submenu. You can create a new group and simply drag menu items with their submenu links into it. It took me less than a minute to fully rearrange my menu exactly the way I wanted. Amazing plugin, I will use it on every site from now on. This should be the first plugin to be installed.

I’m very happy to have found this plugin, after trying some other complicated (and expensive) systems, which don’t allow to have more than 1 sub-level.
This plugin solves this problem and is very easy to use.

Works as advertised, some menus are visually bugged a bit when plugins have wired icons, wish it had option for dividers, but overall does what it say.
