]]>On our site, we have only limited database resources. It happens quite regularly that the max_connections limit is reached.
On our side we’re planning a hardware upgrade which definitely should ease the situation.
How does Advanced Ads handle this situation? Does every view lead to a DB write access? Are there alternative mechanisms to avoid the max_connections issue?

We are utilizing Advanced Ads Pro to run background ads on our website through the background placements function. Unfortunately, our latest campaign is failing to load on either mobile or desktop. We have the Ad Blocker and Cache Busting featues enabled, which restored functionality the last time we were running background ads; in that instance the mobile ad was running on all devices before the Cache Busting was enabled.
Now, ads aren’t running, except for a brief period roughly an hour ago.
Curiously, the ads do appear to run for a logged in user, however we don’t have the ads set to run only for logged in users.
]]>My ad codes either get deleted or edited which stops my ads running, for no apparent reason. No one else has access to my site.
I’ve checked known theme and plugin conflicts already.

I have tried everything, ads, groups, placements, but the ad is not showing up. It may show only one out of ten times I visit my website.
The moment I am writing this, I have checked the manual placement and entered the shortcode taken from the usage instructions on a prefooter area I have set for my website to show the ads. But nothing is showing up. I have also tried after content, before content. But nothing there too. As I mentioned, only once in ten times approximately I was able to view them.
FYI, I am using Google Adsense as well, the auto ads implementation. Just mentioning this in case it plays any role.
I am trying to figure all of this out because I found your plugin interesting and would like to go premium soon enough. Please help.
Finally, on another topic. If possible, I would like to have your opinion on one thing. I am going to add some affiliate banners on my website as ads which will be clickable and lead to the affiliate vendor. This is not generated by JS code (so no cookies), just images with href attr to vendor’s site. Do you know if I need user’s consent to show such ads?
Right now, I have activated TCF v2.0 integration on my website which works great with Complianz plugin I use for my cookie banners. But, I saw this setting “Ignore general Privacy settings and display the ad even without consent.” when I was setting my ads, and I found it useful since my affiliate ads are not going to set any cookies on users’ side.

]]>We’re running advanced ads 1.55.0 and wordpress 6.6.2, and we have a couple of issues. First off the ad block that rotates ads won’t load and the admin for the plugin isn’t displaying correctly (maybe an issue with compatibility with 6.6.2?).
The error we get when trying to load the ad block:
Your site doesn’t include support for the “advads/gblock” block. You can leave this block intact or remove it entirely.

I am trying to add a new ad (type = Plain Text and Code). The company I am going to work with gave me a JS code. They told me to place that code in the footer.
Following your settings upon creating a new ad, I chose Plain Text and Code, then placement footer, but the ad is not showing. Do I miss any settings? Btw, I am using the TCF 2.0 framework, and I want to show the ad only if user gives consent and accepts cookies.
I cannot make it to work. If there is any specific documentation or a how-to video regarding this type of ad that would be wonderful.

]]>I am using CookieYes GCM V2 mode for consent (verified setup), but non-personalized does not change to personalized ads after consent.
In Advanced Ads I have also tried to enable the Privacy section to look for “advertisement:yes” in the ‘cookieyes-consent’ cookie. But this changes nothing either.
Only way I can get Personalized Ads is by using the GDPR Consent bar from Google Adsense, but their should be no reason to use this too (double consent), since using CookieYes as CMP.
Any clues?
I have Advanced Ads inject Auto Ads code into my website … Anchor Ads are showing fine at bottom on desktop but it shows on the top for mobile … I want to force it to bottom by adding the parameter data-overlays=”bottom”

]]>1-2 times per week Adsense gives me this error: “Earnings at risk – You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue”
I then choose ‘fix now’ and find “your site is ready to show ads” “ads.txt was not found” and “last crawled: not applicable” “check for updates”
I then click on “check for updates”, it finds ads.txt and everything goes back to normal for a few days.
This has been occurring for months and I can’t figure out how to fix it permanently.

Dieser korreliert auch mit Timeouts, die ich immer wieder auf der Webseite und im Backend spüre, welche in einem 504 resultieren. Ich habe im Forum gelesen, dass dieses Problem behoben sein sollte.
Komischerweise hat in meiner WordPress-Installation das Pro-Plugin gefehlt, was ich jetzt erst wieder installiert habe. Die Installation hat aber keine Besserung gebracht.

We are using on a Kinsta hosted site, and the problem we run into that when migrating plugin updates from one environment to another, using the built in tools, the Database settings which are hardcoded from the environment into the ajax-handler.php file for the advanced-ads-tracking addon are not accurate anymore.
The Kinsta server provides DB constants which work regardless of environment, but everytime the plugin is updated, these get overwritten:

]]>Hello, I just started using this plugin and bought the Pro version and Tracking functionality. I love what you’ve done here but I’m encountering a problem with the tracking:
First, in the “Ads” section, I have created ads and enabled tracking of impressions and clicks; however, the right “Statistics” column states that tracking for both are “disabled” on all of the ads. I have checked both the main plugin settings and the settings within each ad, but I cannot get these to say that tracking is enabled. The Statistics page is not tracking 99% of the impressions or clicks either. The Ads are implemented via Placements using the PHP function provided by the plugin and I have place it within the template file. Cache busting is enabled as “Passive” and everything seems to be working correctly on the front end. Any thoughts as to what could be the issue?
