Hi – our site shows fine on PC but it’s looping on mobile with the occasional error message “A problem has repeatedly occurred on [website]” I’m troubleshooting and wondering if there’s a way to disable the carousel on mobile.

Hi, right now via ACF plugin custom fields can be added to the post type “Advanced Bootstrap Carousel” but for this to work it would require to run a loop inside the carousel and to assign each custom field to the corresponding slide. IF there’s a better way to do this it would be great as a feature as all the personalization fields could be added as customfields by the developer and be filled by regular users without editing any code.

So I change it to

How about put some box ticking bootstrap version installed?

I know I can add a starting div with a class for the caption, but how can I do the same for the image of one or more slides?
In other words to replace the “.item” class with a custom one

Just to be clear: the button marked “Add New Carousel” really just means “Add an Image”.

Just give the image a name and then use Featured image to select the image.

You can then use the shortcode to display all the images.

If you want your carousel to only use some of the images, you can use Categories to define which images appear in the carousel, like this:

[twabc-carousel category=”whatever”]

I can’t figure out where you add all the slides for each carousel. I can’t find anything in the UI that even suggests it’s possible and the documentation doesn’t include how to.
