Initially, I was quite pleased with this plugin. It offers a map with the ability to automatically map the user to their current location. It’s also fast which is another major point for my site. Still, there are issues that make using the plugin on my site difficult. First, when OSM is used as a map, the displayed map cannot be moved by the user without the page automatically triggering the display of one of the classifieds one entered previously. Second, the location options are tied to the address field. If I don’t want to use the location drop-down, I also use the option to enter any location at all. I would appreciate it, if these issues are worked on for future releases.

You have included new custom designed location and category dropdowns with no means of backward compatibility with previous versions.
The search box in these dropdowns is not required if you only have say 4 entries. Whats more they don’t even automatically close once the user has selected an entry. What made you think that every site wanted to transition to these dropdowns? How can you get rid of the search box and get the dropdown to automatically close once you have made a selection? Why are radio buttons forced on everyone, what if I don’t want radio buttons to keep the controls consistent with my existing custom fields dropdowns? seems poorly thought through.

Impossible to customize the appearance, not even the color and size of the texts. Really a shame for a WordPress plugin, in 2024! And the pro version (which I bought) does not offer more possibilities.

This is missing a honeypot feature to block out bots as fake “members” so it allows bots to create a user profile, then someone can use that new profile to create fake listings or try to find ways to put malware into the website.
Even the paid version doesn’t include it, according to PluginWare. I reached out with a support ticket, and they told me it does not have a honeypot feature if you allow the plugin to take care of user Login/Registration. It’s a pretty significant security gap, IMO! Especially for something as expensive as this. You’d have to layer it on with something else to fill the gap.

The ACADP plugin gives a frontend developer, who wants to develop a classified ad site ,all the tools and functionality needed. The plugin’s business logic is extremely well crafted .It anticipates all contingencies in the development of a classified ad system. It is extremely flexible and the more one studies it, the more one sees that the developers have thought the process through thoroughly.
However, the best aspect of this plugin is the hands down best technical support in the industry. These people will never abandon you as a pro user. I reflect on my own experience,nights on the phone with India, days working through plugin conflicts with their full support and insight.

I can’t praise support highly enough.
I wanted just a search tool and Sanjiv lead us through the whole procedure without any drama. His communication skills are excellent.
I am 76 years old and been into computers since the mid-1970s, so I believe I know what I am talking about.
We set our site up at SeaDragonLife as a search tool only, and are still to launch it.
If it is successful, we may well monetize it and will be coming straight back to Sanjiv for full assistance.
