I have just noticed that a spreadsheet embedded in an iframe on my web page has become fully visible without constraint, whereas i had specified that just part should be visible using this plugin. This has happed sometime in the last few weeks. Previously it all worked fine and I don’t know why (or exactly when) it has changed. I have updated to the latest version of advanced iframe and this made no difference. Hoping someone can explain what has happened and suggest a solution.

( ! ) Warning: Undefined array key "replace_iframe_tags" in /MY_DIR/app/public/wp-content/plugins/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe.php on line 1107
I fixed this warning by editing the line 1107 on advanced-iframe.php to check that the $devOptions variable is not null, but I’m not sure where this comes from and why now. Also don’t want my patch to be gone in a future update.

Page above containing just one block displaying one iFrame has stopped working recently – not sure when it stopped exactly since page has been there for three years now. Errors are displayed about “extended_widget_opts_block”. I only have very basic settings on the block, that is for URL, width and height.
I use a plugin called “Widget Options” that appears to be causing the conflict, since when this is turned off, the iFrame displays correctly.
However, a page where an iFrame should be displayed using short codes rather than a Gutenberg block does not display at all, even when the “Widget Options” plugin is disabled. In this case no errors are displayed – the display is just blank (see https://oldpharosians.org.uk/first-thursday/).

I’ve tested the URL for X-Frame-Options and blockers and there is no problem. No errors are registered to the console on page loading. The containing page and source are on the same domain. Any suggestions on next steps for troubleshooting (e.g. known problems with Divi themes)?

Hi,
If you see a is_registered error on the options tab or the options tab is broken and very short because errors are not shown, please simply reinstall the latest version. During upload one file was missing and was added 20 minutes later. There a method was not defined yet.
Sorry for the inconvenience, Michael

Can you tell if it’s correct and report it in your next update please?

Please give me just the simplest code for iframing the subdomain with 100% width & height. That’s all (before I consider to buy your Pro).

This plugin appears to register an “ai_content_page” post type. The code looks like there’s supposed to be an admin setting to turn it on/off, but I don’t see anything on the actual settings page, and I’m not sure what this post type would do or where content would come from. Is there a reason for its existence and a way to turn it off?

Advanced iFrame Pro problem with WP6.4.2 editor not working
Steps:
Create a page
Insert an AIframe block
The block shows: This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.
Browser Console shows – Error: Minified React error #130; with a bunch of other errors after it.
This worked fine before the WP was updated.

I installed advanced Iframe yesterday to try to resolve a specific issue. However, I think the issue was more with the other tools I was using (thrive themes) and so I’ve decided to rebuild using Oxygen.
I’ve therefore deactivated and deleted the plugin. I’ve cleared my site cache, my hosting cache and my browser cache.
However, trying to build templates in Oxygen, whenever I add their “Inner content” block, it immediately adds a block which shows an [advanced_iframe] shortcode
Help! How do I find and remove whatever remnant is causing this?
Ever since your plugin got auto updated 8/31/2023 to Version 2023.7 it has slowed my WP Admin Dashboard to a crawl. Everything I try to do in Admin takes forever unless I disable your plugin. It was happening under PHP 8.1 and still after reverting to PHP 7.4x (WP v6.3.1). I have SiteGround caching enabled, in case that matters.
I changed the default YES to NO in your Settings > Options > Checking/Monitoring of iframes > Check Url on load and then I clicked the Update Settings button. It took a long to save, and still did not speed up the Admin Dashboard. I saved the settings page again, still no Admin speed improvement.
Whatever you updated in Version 2023.7 has caused your plugin to mess with the WP Admin Dashboard. Please help.
Front end still works fine.

Hello again,
my users have reported that desktop Safari has trouble displaying some iframes. Mobile is fine, chrome and firefox is fine.
Specifically this one (second sheet in file):
[advanced_iframe use_shortcode_attributes_only=”true” src=”https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTg3YMULQ80YMGBbpCG-WnAYqnmSNk28Dl9gAx5_jF6NrD6BbsYmoU_psdruE1W-OcW4GV5DM3oWthS/pubhtml?gid=825871957&single=true” width=”100%” height=”750″ style=”max-width: 100%; max-height: 750px;” title=”gdocs-program-thursday”]
I personally don’t have access to a Mac, but my user sent me a screenshot of the console:
Interestingly, this other sheet works, even though it’s the same file, just the first sheet.
[advanced_iframe use_shortcode_attributes_only=”true” src=”https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRVfOnYjOwdkfnSAhCezQXkrAntZSVRnOT0islDmSOo1yd-EVl1EU9oIEztOLXoFdkX8ZPd0dEBdHjU/pubhtml?gid=0single=true” width=”100%” height=”750″ style=”max-width: 100%; max-height: 750px;” title=”gdocs-program-thursday”]
Hi, thank you for the awesome plugin and huge knowledge base.
I’m trying to embed a Google Sheets sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRVfOnYjOwdkfnSAhCezQXkrAntZSVRnOT0islDmSOo1yd-EVl1EU9oIEztOLXoFdkX8ZPd0dEBdHjU/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true
Here’s the generated shortcode:
[advanced_iframe use_shortcode_attributes_only=”true” src=”https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRVfOnYjOwdkfnSAhCezQXkrAntZSVRnOT0islDmSOo1yd-EVl1EU9oIEztOLXoFdkX8ZPd0dEBdHjU/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true” width=”100%” height=”750″ style=”max-width: 100%; max-height: 750px;” title=”gdocs-program-thursday”]
Now the issue is, Google Sheets returns a 400 Bad Request error (in Czech the text means that currently the file could not be opened):
Now, when I embed this same link via other tools (the native [embed] blocks or EmbedPress), the iframe loads up just fine. The issue there is that it’s impossible to use it on mobile, because the iframe height gets decreased proportionately with the width, so on mobile you can see like the first three rows of the sheet.
I wanted to use your plugin because you allow to specify the max-height style attribute which should fix this responsivity issue. I am just fine with specifying it in pixels.
I’m using BeTheme.

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string + string in?/bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/advanced-iframe/includes/advanced-iframe-main-after-iframe.php:259
That line adds the footer suggesting the pro version. In my case the count that triggers it is strange high count. for a nonprofit website and has not launched yet.
Strange happenings:)
I have what I think are the correct settings, but the iframe is being resized to 413px.
Under basic settings, I have width field set to 100%
My shortcode:
[advanced_iframe use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="https://example.com" width="100%" height="600" scroll="no" onload_resize="true" onload_resize_delay="1000" onload_resize_width="true"]
The result of rendered html:
<iframe id="advanced_iframe" name="advanced_iframe" src="https://example.com/" width="413" height="19672" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" loading="lazy" style="width: 413px; height: 19672px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" onload="setTimeout(function() { ;aiResizeIframe(ifrm_advanced_iframe, "true","1");},1000)">
Have been back through settings many times and hoping you can get me back on track.
