I know how annoying it is to bring out something new and someone says they prefer the old version.

I am by no means a wordpress expert – which means I need things to be very obvious and simple. I find the wording and options when doing a reset via “Advanced Reset” much easier to understand than the new “WP Reset”. Even with my limited knowledge, I knew exactly what a reset was and was not going to do.

I installed “WP Reset” but quickly uninstalled it and went back to “Advanced Reset”. It may just be me… but it may also be worthwhile asking 5 or so people who represent your biggest user base.

Just a thought.

Some sites of mine share the same plugins folder with the constant ‘PLUGINS_DIR’ in wp-config.php, will this folder be cleared by using Deep Cleaning? I don’t dare to try because other sites are affected.

With deep cleaning, the active theme is kept, all other themes including the default ones are deleted. Is it possible to restore it if the default theme exists?

I switched from another plugin to yours since yours deletes the plugins & themes but one suggestion I would like to make that this other plugin had is your plugin should switch back to the wordpress default theme and then delete all other themes during reset. That way once the reset is done its back to how WordPress was initially installed which is what we want when we reset.

Also, while it “clears” the uploads folder (which is awesome), can you add in the future to actually delete all the folders/directories as well so its truly a clean slate.

after a deep cleaning there is no user anymore in the database, so i can not log me in again.
it would be fine to have an user to log in, it is a bit awkward to create a new one by editing the database by hand.

What would make this even better and stand out over the ones would be if it deleted the “uploads” folder….I have to delete it manually now after I reset a temp site.
