This is showing on my live site, with recent versions of the plugin.

I’ve used WP Rollback to go back to version 10.0.8.1. That’s fixed the visual problem, but obviously isn’t ideal.

Is there a fix for this? Or can anyone suggest a plugin without the issue?

Looks like this ARVE plugin no longer works with WordPress Classic Editor. Clicking the button does nothing now. Dead.

To the developer, how do I easily replace your plugin with another one unless I go through each embedded video on each page where a video was embedded, and then replace them one by one? I’m left with no choice.

I know you may not like my question, but I do not think you include compatibility with the Classic Editor, which I still use. No, I do not use the Gutenberg Editor even from day one.

I’ve been searching, but have not found where to download that from. I’m going to go back, and manually install that previously working version.

When ARVE is enabled, it prevents an ad from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-user-avatar/ from closing. The circle X button on the ad doesn’t work. When I disable ARVE, I can close the ad.

The new update has broken several sites.

I am getting the error “ARVE Error: src mismatch” when I am updating the plugin after the version 10.0.9.

That does not happen with v10.0.8.1 and previous.

Hi,

I updated the ARVE plugin from 9.10.12 to 9.10.15, and the plugin stopped working. The video doesn’t show up at all, just an empty are (white in this case).

I updated the plugin only on my test site (see the link), so the plugin doesn’t work there, but the version 9.10.12 work well on my main site.

So, what’s wrong? Please correct the plugin.

There is no way to remove your nag notice. Very annoying.

The new versions of ARVE conflict with Yoast SEO plugin. No problem with ARVE 9.9.9. The tabs that allow you to optimize your content (SEO, Readability, Inclusivity tabs) don’t contain any data or just are spinning.

Confirmed by trying a fresh install of WordPress 5.8.6 and a default theme. A ‘critical’ error message will appear after the plugin is installed. Full stack trace below. FYI, when I tried to use the other support forum it said my email address was invalid, no matter what address I used to sign-in with a one-time code.

Is there a functionality in ARVE to pause the video using jquery?

I’m using this plugin along with WP Courseware course builder. When the ARVE plugin is enabled, I’m unable to use the course builder. I get a couple of Javascript errors:

ReferenceError: sectionsDisplayed is not defined

TypeError: querySelectorAll is not a function

9.9.2 creates an undissmissible meta box over classic editor on my site.

Reverted to 9.9.0 but that has a critical error so reverted to 9.8.1 which operates fine.

Will try and replicate on a staging site and narrow down plugin conflicts etc, but at the moment I have turbned auto updates off.

I’m experiencing this errors on Google Search Console:
– Missing field “thumbnailUrl”
– Missing field “uploadDate”
– Missing field “description”
– Missing field “name”

The error occurs on every page where I embed the YouTube videos.

How can I fix this?

I’ve had ARVE plugin on my website for several years. I’ve used it to embed videos with different aspect ratios to fit the column width. (The default seems to be 16:9 on my page.)

Before, ARVE dealt the thing when I embedded the video like for instance
[arve url=”… …” aspect_ratio=”738:540″]
like in the linked page.

But now ARVE doesn’t do that anymore. The video is squeezed narrower in the column, and I cannot figure out why. So, something essential has changed in ARVE. I’m sure this has happened several updates ago, so cannot tell when this has happened.

Is there still a way to use ARVE as explained above? And how to do that?

Issue not occurring on any of our other sites, all running identical specs.
Rolling back the previous 2 updates of the video embedder plugin, I observed the same results – clicking the button does not work at all.

Please can you help, advise, and resolve this issue?

I have hundreds of videos on my site and I am wondering if I have to recreate a new shortcode every time I need to embed a video or if there is a way to “retrieve” links from an already embedded video, other than have to find it on the site, and copy/paste that shortcode.

I have just added the plugin Advanced Responsive Video Embedder. I am not able to see the sticky video after the page is scrolled. I have clicked on the play button & the video is started but still, the small stick window is not visible. I have used these 2 shortcodes, but both of them are not working.

I am much interested in your plugin but I have a few questions.
I tried the free version but it didn’t work for autoplay vidéo and Lazyload.
Could I test it before buy premium version?
My main worry is to improve speed to show my website page with autoplay video.
