… even if the description says “every few weeks”. Apparently “every few weeks” means one week. Pretty damn annoying.

Our agency uses this to audit existing sites we’re actively providing content marketing for, And it is a great way to refine articles we’ve already written into even better content pieces.

Being able to view Ahrefs results inside WordPress, as well as the average organic traffic, without having to install Site Kit or any other plugin is great.
We use it with Yoast and it’s really useful to view Ahrefs data inside our site.

This is definitely useful and getting better over time.
The rate at which you need to get a new key does get annoying especially when it means your weekly or monthly audit didn’t run. The lowest AHrefs subscription is just too much for what my site brings in.
I’d also like to see the stats not have to go by the audit length. I have a seasonal site so even though I might want to look at posts published more than 3 months ago, I still want to see stats over 12 months instead of 3 to get a more accurate picture.

I’ve used this plugin for months, and become my guide to evaluate all my posts, every month, to check which ones to update, and which one to rewrite. Super useful. Thanks ahrefs.

I’m a customer and paying $2000 a year. Unfortunate, the Plugin is not usable without a Google Analytics Account, and we are not using GA, just GSC and other web traffic tools.

This plugin is really bad and be careful because it leaves a lot of crap behind when you uninstall it.

it has become a useless service if you are not a millionaire

No keyword data matches whats on my paid ahrefs account or GSC data. The suggestions are totally useless and make no sense at all..
This plugin is like a fail grade student project.

Forces you to connect and use Google analytics and console data. Most probably using your data to feed their paid database. Not allowed to connect so don’t using it.

The plugin didn’t correctly assess my rankings (at least the estimates didn’t match my rank tracker, I’m a paying customer), and the tips for improvement pretty much adds up to links to a couple of blog posts. Cannot recommend, and I’m kind of amazed that ahrefs would release such a poor product.

The fact that you cannot use this plugin unless you attach a Google Analytics account to it, is a non-starter for us. We use Fathom Analytics.

This is a nice way to quickly find keyword cannibalization issues. Also pages that need some attention if you don’t have any other way of doing so (i.e. by looking at their traffic numbers).
The thing is, it’s clunky if you have a lot of pages. Once you’ve run the report on let’s say 200 pages, you have a big list in WordPress where you can only see 20 at a time and no way to export the data to make it part of any process. You’d have to work directly from the list inside wordpress or copy and paste the results across.

This plugin works perfectly with Rank Math and I love having the traffic totals in my admin post list.

You have the keep the browser tab open for 3 hours for it to finish auditing. Close the browser tab and it stops auditing.

Does not include tag pages in the audit. Some sites (like mine) actually have tag pages that rank well.
Does not use the canonical URL for posts that appear under more than one category when category name is used in permalink. This causes the analysis to be very inaccurate as those posts show no data for SERPS, backlinks, etc.
No reply from support for either of those issues.
Looks like this could be a useful plugin if not for those issues.

This allowed me to see the deadweight blog article on my website. To remove them and repurpose them towards better keywords. It shines a light on where you can improve your Google rankings 5 stars!

Have been looking for a plugin that lets me look at what content can be improved on my page through a better process than manually looking at the data of each page.
Doesn’t support Woocommerce though, would love to also audit my product pages.

This plugin only seem to analyze posts and not categories. Which is sad since all my content lies in the category description. Hopefully they will add this feature in the future.

the plugin helped me automate a process that used to take me hours on a spreadsheet because I had to download data from so many different sources

This plugin helped save my time with the content audit. It was really useful in helping me find out what content can be improved. Seems like a unique plugin that I can’t find elsewhere.

This question and answer is FALSE and miss leading, you should have told us we need to be a paying customer to get full access.
wasted 3hrs to scan only to be serve with error messages about API limit.
Can I use the plugin if I am not a paying customer of Ahrefs?
Yes you can. You will be able to perform a full content audit for your site only.

With hundreds of blog posts on the blog, it’s hard to know which to update or optimize so that I can get more organic traffic. In the past, I had to rely on my intuition on know which blog post should be updated, or I happened to chance upon one that needs updating, or I had to go through my blog and GA to find opportunities. I like that this plugin does the audit for me and tells me which posts are under-performing and what I can do about it.
The tool does feel quite complex at first but I think I understand it now after exploring it for a while.
