Hi, as the title really, my seach bar is on a top bar with the menu underneath but when the drop down appears the top section is behind the menu rather than in front of it?

I use ajax search lite to display live search in my directory which is made with directorist plugin. It works as I expect it to work when typing in the search bar, but I have a problem when hitting enter or magnifier icon.
Lets say that I want to search the word example.
When I type example in directorist search bar the url that I get is

I’m building this drugstore e-commerce (WooCommerce) and ASL was working butter-smooth until the last iterations, when out of nowhere the search stopped working, returning all products regardless of what was searched for �� even random strings like oqihwertqweroqkwf, askfuh124351234qwlkfjh as seen here. I’ve tried to clear transients, clear site cache, reinstall ASL, but nothing helped.

The site password is avcommerce.

Any light on this?

Hi. I have one problem with this fantastic plugin. When I search for something in the search bar and click on the magnifying glass icon or see more results, I get a page with the search results. If I now want to search for something again, it is no longer possible, the icon in the search bar just loads, and when I click on the magnifying glass icon, nothing happens. When I add the fourth character, the search correctly shows that there are no matches. I added a search feature to my page, but since it doesn’t have live search options, I opted for the Ajax Search Lite plugin. However, it only returns the pages where that file is located. I also tried Ivory Search, but the same issue occurs.

What I really need is to search for a title that links to a local PDF file. I need it to retrieve the file exactly as it is. I��m not sure if it��s affected by being inside a TABS element, but I��ve searched through many configurations and nothing seems to work. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I appreciate any help you can provide.

NOTE: The title is slightly censored for the company’s privacy, and the logo is also obscured.

Hi, could you give me a little help please? I’m a first time Ajax Search lite user and it’s doing a great job, but I have an issue. I have the shortcode installed in the page content on my website home page where it’s working fine. however, I also have it installed in a widget at the top of the page. The search field is shown, but it isn’t possible to enter any search text. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I have an Ajax search lite search bar that I want users to use to search for posts (only a custom post called “Palabras”). I set it up to use keyword suggestions but if I write something wrong it suggests similar words regardless if they are existent posts in my website.

I want to limit keyword suggestions to suggest only related posts. Is that possible?

For example, if my post is “Alejandro” and I write “Alejandri”, to say “did you mean Alejandro?”

I’ve set up the widget, and it looks and works awesome in preview on our blog, but when I go live the search bar is stuck on the red theme. I’ve cleared the cache etc. etc. but nothing has changed, it’s just red.

Is it possible to sort by menu_order field, or order as it it shown on the pages form. I tried it as a custom field but it didn’t do anything?

I currently have the Ordering set as:

Primary – Relevance

Secondary: post tile order

However, my post titles are alphanumeric so 4.xxabc comes after 39.xxabc, etc.

Is it possible to have the ‘did you mean’ in the search results page as opposed to the search results box?

Meaning if I type ‘whi’ the search results box says no results for ‘whi’ did you mean ‘white’

however, this takes a second to show and most people hit enter before it shows. Then the get the ‘no results found’ page. Is there a way to show the ‘did you mean’ on the search results page so they can not get frustrated and correct the search result?

Also I selected the (Experimental) Predictively suggest results on the results page when nothing matches the search keyword? options so something will show for ‘whi’ but it is not accurate. I want to show the ‘did you mean’ on the page so they can refine the search.

Is there code I can add for this to the search template or a way to do this?
