I was looking for something like Spotlight or Alfred for WordPress …
And now I’ve found it ??
Aladdin saves me a lot of time going through the admin menu, looking and searching, searching and looking, ugh.
Mr. Developer @tsiger I COULD KISS YOU! ??
Please keep up the good work & don’t let Aladdin die ??
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Ben
PS: I hope my text helps others finding this plugin looking for an quicklaunch application alternative like Spotlight for WordPress or something similar like Alfred for WordPress.

I had a very good experience with Aladdin… until the moment I had to edit a post within wordpress in HTML mode.
Half of the times I would hit to end an html tag, the >
key, that would trigger Aladdin’s detection.
I don’t know, maybe it’s different on English keyboards, but with a French keyboard, Aladdin pops up just far too often when we want to end HTML tags (tested by another friend.)
Earnest suggestion : that Aladdin can be turned off when we’re in a HTML editing mode.
Cheers!

It saves time. Especially if you are working with laptop and use the build in “mouse”.

I love this, this is saving me quite a few mouse movements (and in turn, minutes) a day.
For me, it’s simple things like this that add a lot to the UI experience. Awesome work, thanks a ton!

Handy little plugin to have when working with large websites that contain many custom post types for example.
