Hi there-
I wanted to know how to make it so that when a link is no good, it will get a broken link error. I want to do this because I have a plugin to scan broken links. If I would scan my links it would show the ones that are no longer good instead of appearing to be ok when the link goes to my homepage.
Is there a setting for that?
Thanks

My Affiliate Link Cloaker plugin will not allow me to re-enable it. I get a 500 error. I disabled all except for WP-Sweep. I used the WP-Sweep. When I tried to re-enable my plugins I had a hard time doing it in bulk. I re-enabled each one individually. I now have 2 plugins that won’t enable.
The plugin issue is CRITICAL for me. PLEASE HELP!!!
]]>Hello,
I had a question regarding the addresses.
Default country code on Region Detect : US
– Does this mean that it will default to the US IP if there is not one set in the addresses part of the link cloaker?
In the Address section of the Affiliate Link Options:
– If you set a country with a unique address will that be the new address for any that goes to the specific url country?
– what does the default check box refer to.
– i notice the links only change if I add a United States address and country code. Why is this the case?
This is very confusing. Sorry if i am missing something.

Thanks

]]>This looks like a very-near perfect plugin for anyone wanting to use affiliate links in their posts/articles. However, it is lacking 1 major feature, and needs a few minor fixes.
It needs to allow the user to enter multiple keywords, separated by a comma. Rather than only one “Search Text” keyword as the plugin calls it, that is auto-linked in the content of posts. For example I might want “Amazon.com”, “Amazon”, and “Online Shopping” to all link, using the cloaked URL, to my Amazon affiliate account.
The other think I think could be improved, is the way the plugin works: when you add a new link, you have to hit “save” and see some error messages in order to get the field for the link to appear. This should appear from the start. Also, it would be very helpful if the “Add New” button were on the individual link options page, so that once you’ve saved a new link, you can quickly click the button to add another. Rather than having to go to Settings>Link Cloaker to get back to the main settings page, then click “add new” button to start a new one.
I want the authors to know that I very much like the plugin. It looks like it may become the perfect solution for cloaking and auto insertion of affiliate links. But right now it has one major and a few minor issues that need to be resolved first.
