Hello everyone,
If you ask, why did this plugin close?
This is because this plugin has been replaced with a new and improved plugin called “Advanced Notifications”
Advanced Notifications – Link to the plugin page The plugin page
Currently in the design you can set a design that fit desktop and mobile.
If I set a message box to be 40% of the screen in the Desktop will be to much and in the mobile to less.
Will be nice to be able to decide a different design for mobile.
For example I’m asking to be able to set in mobile design 50 or 80 % and in desktop 30 %
Currently in the design tab you can only choose a single design for all devices.
]]>Currently you can choose to set the closing button take effect for 1 day minimum.
I had some need to set maybe the message to be closed only for the navigation time, less time like 15 minutes or 30 minutes.
i think you should add the possibility to switch days to be changed in hours or minutes.
Will be amazing.
]]>Feature request: It would be really nice to set an expiration date for alerts.
]]>Hi
Is it possible to reduce the number of entries in the “+ New” menu?
In order not to overwhelm customers, “Alert Notice” is sufficient.
Animations, designs, locations are not necessary.
Many thanks for the plugin and the support.`

On my development server, I even tried: installing the older version and then updating as well as deleting and starting fresh.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
]]>Good afternoon
where can I select a specific page to appear in the notice box?
I update to version 2.2.1 and the plugin stopped popping up. I had to rollback to version 2.2.0.
Any ideas as to why that would be? I’d like to keep the plugin updated.
Thanks,
leslie
I’m trying to clean up any plugins on my site showing warnings, Alert Notice Boxes is one of them.
Will you be releasing a fix soon?
PHP Deprecated: strpos(): Non-string needles will be interpreted as strings in the future. Use an explicit chr() call to preserve the current behavior in /wp-content/plugins/alert-notice-boxes/includes/anb_functions.php on line 40
Sometimes, after saving some values, the value of the id of the default location changes from ‘default’ to ‘location’.
Then the alert could not be shown.
I don’t know how to solve it
I would like to suggest a feature that will allow you to randomize alerts so you don’t have to always have the same alert as the first alert when you visit the website.
]]>I tried to make the plugin work using all the settings given by you in previous support questions but its still not working.
]]>I’ve loved the plugin. Finally found what i wanted to increase sales on my website, but even setting to show the notifications on all devices, it only appears on desktop and i need most to mobile devices. I set to show only on the principal page too, but still appears on the other ones (papodediva.com/adv01-2-0/ for example). Can you help me?
]]>HI guys, when I click the ‘x’ to close an alert box, it is opening a new tab in my browser and redirecting that TAB to an external link. In this case the URL https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/
I do have a reference to that page in one place on my site which is in the bottom footer at the bottom left of my site here: https://balletblack.co.uk/
I think this might be some sort of bug in the plugin.
I am running the latest version of WPress
Any ideas?
]]>Hi guys, I downloaded the plugin and I my current version is WP 4.5.5
I noticed that when I updated an alert to the RED box for danger that it worked on my site when viewed using Brave however it remained blue on Safari and Chrom and on my iphone. I cleared local caches without any effect. Is there a known issue on this CSS?
Also can you set the order if you have more than one showing on the page at a time?
]]>Hi there
Wondering.
is there any possibilty to use this plugin in a multilang setup?

]]>Successfully displaying an ANB at the WooCommerce ‘checkout’ page. The ANB is alerting the user to add certain information in Order Notes if desired.
However, the ANB also displays on page ‘checkout/order-received’ which is a page generated by WooCommerce and has the same page ID as ‘checkout’. The message is now out of context and not wanted.
Is there anyway to prevent display of the ANB if ‘order-received’ is part of the URL?
Thank you.
]]>Maybe me being blind this one, where do I pick the homepage only when trying to set the plugin?
Under publish I have 4 options but when I click ‘page’ I can’t set which page and the notice will not show on my shop homepage… just all internal pages.
Not used for a while.
]]>When I attempt to publish, I get a message that I am unable to open file. How do permissions need to be set?
Thanks!
]]>I’ve downloaded and activated the plugin and created a test alert, however I’m not seeing the alert on the site, and the preview takes me to a 404 error. Is there an additional step to getting this set up that I’m missing?
]]>Hi. I like this plugin. Simple and looks good on pc and mobile. However, on my site, it sometimes forgets the settings and goes back to default. So if I set the timeout to 20 seconds and save it (and it works as expected), but later, come back and change the text, the timeout will go back to 8 seconds (default).
I don’t have a cache enabled, so it’s not that. Bit weird, but maybe you’ve seen it before.
One thing that springs to mind: Do I NEED to create a location? I’m using it without a location at the moment.
]]>Hello, thanks for the plugin!
But it’s only works with logged users in my site. I set the correspondent option “Only for logged users” for “All users”.
Can you help me?
]]>Hi
The Plugin is awesome and fits all of our needs. However, we couldn’t find any settings to schedule the alerts. We have several ?news‘ popup‘s which should not be visible after a specific date. Currently we need to do so by disabling each notice, which is not very handy.
Is there a way to set a schedule for each alert?
Thank you
]]>Hi Yehi,
I’m having trouble to see in the popup the styles created in the plugin dashboard (wp-admin). It seems that none of the settings I entered are applied. Can you help me with this?
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
I’m having a problem with the plugin, I only want to show the messages on the home page. But it appears in all pages. this is because It only appears in the publish boxes the option “pages”
This is the website: https://fits.ye.rs/
I’ve tried to edit the home page and save it again, as you said in a topic before, but the home page doesn’t appear in Publish options.
Thanks
]]>Hello the team,
Thank you for your plug-in, it’s great!
However, I’m unable to play with the frequency of display.
On frequency, I put “Close button” cancel for 1 days but it seems to display everytime on every page. I also try the “limitations” with the same custom limitations but it does display on everypage for every user… can you help me?
It looks like the frequency option isn’t liking my websites ??
Thanks,
Michael
Hi! Are you planning to update the plugin any soon? It doesn’t work with last WP (
Thank you.
Hello,
there are some mobile device CSS Bugs.
Example:
Notice-Box default width is 350px.
On small mobile screens there is no responsive solution. The Width is fixed… set the width to “auto” is better in this solution.
Whenever I try to save any settings for this plugin, I get redirected to /post.php
where I see a white page with the message “Unable to open file!” The settings seem to save all right, but the notice does not appear on my site.
What file locations does this plugin need write-access to work?
